after suffering many a festival with my other half, stuck in two man tent, along with half her wardrobe and my cool box i decided to invest in a tent which would allow us to have a bit more room for both of us.id say i use a tent about once a year twice max, so didn't want something to expensive but wanted something that would enable us more room to get changed, sit up right, and somewhere we could store our items which wasn't in sleeping compartment.I found this tent on amazon, read a few good reviews about it, so decided to part with my cash and make the purchase. The tent arrived prompt and in prefect nick. After reading some reviews on here how people set there tent up in 15 minutes I was quite excited to put the thing up.However, how someone put this tent up in 15minuites first time ill never know. The instructions aren't instructions they are just 4 poor diagrams sowen into the inner bag, which you have to figure out for yourself. After about an hour of good hard graft me and my dad finally managed to construct the tent and sort it out.The tent its self was quite roomy, more than enough room to stand up in and get changed in the middle compartment. There's definitely room for two in the sleeping compartments, slightly smaller than I imagined though. we even managed to fit a fold out picnic table and chairs in the middle compartment, which gives us somewhere to sit and eat out food.I haven't actually used the tent in a festival situation yet, just in my great British garden…..of course 20 minutes after erecting the tent, it rained!!!!!! the tent however remained bone dry inside and seemed fine to me.my only critisism I have would be the instructions, but once you figure it out, it becomes quite easy. The second would be the outer side of the tent doesn’t appear to come all the way to the ground, it appears to be an inch from the ground. I don’t know if this is due to the way we set it up or due to poor manufacturing.overall I was quite pleased, and im looking forward to trying I out for real at reading festival next week :)

We bought this tent for a family camping holiday, and have so far used it in all weathers.First of all: it's big! The central section is a sort of porch/entrance area that we use for storing our stuff and taking off muddy boots. It's large enough for two adults, a toddler, and a big dog to comfortably sit and have some lunch. If you extend the canopy this becomes a very useful sitting / eating area, and the groundsheet for this section has low "walls" that keep mud/water outside. The two side bedroom pods are also pretty big. We easily fit in a double air mattress in each, and they can comfortably sleep two adults with space for backpacks, etc.I've slept in it with my big dog and we both had enough room to spread out. It's very easy to erect. I've managed it on my own in about 30 mins - you need to peg down one end to stop it collapsing on itself, but once you get the knack it's no bother. With two people it's very easy to put up, and takes about 15 mins. The poles are colour-coded for the relevant holes, and everything pops together easily. I'd recommend getting some better pegs though (the x-section ones for hard ground are great) as the standard ones are the usual rubbish that bends in an instant. The construction is sturdy and everything feels solid. We've had it up in the Scottish wind and rain - it held together perfectly and remained waterproof after several hours. The supplied bag is big enough to fit everything back into even if you forget the original origami folds, but the overall package is small enough to fit in the boot alongside everything else. For comparison I reckon it's about the size of a Labrador with no legs! The only downside I've noted after a year of use is poor ventilation: the "window" vents are very small and it can get very warm in the bedrooms. You also need to remember to put the little rain hat thing across the top vents before you erect it, otherwise it's hard to attach (I've tied it on permanently with cable ties to prevent future swearing!).Overall it's a great tent that I've recommended to family.

We got this tent to take to a festival, with the idea that it would give us more storage/stand up space. It was much bigger than I expected so great on that score. I've had tents using a similar structure before, so it was easy to put up.In typical, UK `Bank Holiday/festival' fashion, it then rained solidly for around 30 hours with howling wind. There were about 3 drips from where a tab attached the outer tent to one of the inner compartments (which I'll spray when I next put it up) but really, hardly anything. All in all, I have to say we were really impressed with how well it coped! It was very strong even though tents all around us were being battered and flooded. In fact quite a few had been abandoned by the time we woke up on the final day, warm and dry! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a reliable, strong tent and although we only used it for a weekend, I wouldn't hesitate to use it for longer in the future, due to amount of room inside. This wasn't a problem for us, but please be aware that the sleeping compartments are nearly exactly the same size as a double airbed, fitting sideways on. I did not find it caused the compartments to touch the outer sheet, but it does mean one person has the tent overhanging them a little bit. But then again if you're that claustrophobic, i suppose you wouldn't fancy camping anyway...

This is an excellent tent - which is (a) reasonably compact when folded away; (b) easy and quick to assemble; and (c) spacious and comfortable to sleep in. I've been away camping in this tent on several occasions over the past year or so, and it is in my opinion one of the best 4-person tents available. It's designed so that there are, in effect, three rooms inside the tent. First, there's a communal space (tall enough to stand up in) that will easily fit a table and chairs. This space is the access point into the tent - and, if you wish, you can erect a porch area. Then, secondly, there are two separate bedrooms, off to the sides. Each bedroom will comfortably fit a double blow-up mattress (or,if you're using thin sleeping mats, you can actually fit three people in each bedroom). It's got a sewn-in ground sheet, and is fully water proof (I've been out in a storm and no water came in). Everything you need to erect this tent (aside from a hammer to knock-in the pegs) is provided. I like it best because it's so spacious - perfect for a family of, say, 2 adults and 3 young children. Or, if only 2 adults are using it, you can effectively store all your camping gear inside it and have room left over!I fully recommend this tent. Unless you're after a giant tent, you'll not find one as spacious (or as easy to set up).Comment Comment | Permalink

First of all, the price on this tent was great. Amazon removed the UK vat for me and added the Norwegian vat and a one day shipping fee of no more than 12 pounds. One day shipping! Got it on my door step friday afternoon. Pretty great. And the price including everything was around 1400 NOK. (154 pounds). The price in Norway everywhere else ranges from 290 pounds and upwards. And with Amazon's service easily beating everything else I've seen (and I have shopped A LOT online), the choice was easy. The tent in it self was hard to put up. But reading the reviews of others I think this is my own fault. Hehe. But the tent is in good quality, and not so heavy that it can't be carried for some period of time. When I finally had it up I saw that it is a big and gorgous tent. The material is again quite nice. The sleeping compartments worked out great. And I put my dog in the middle of the two compartments. I think the size of the tent makes it very versatile.Have not had a chance to test it against heavy water or rain though. But other than that my impression is very good!

Have use it 4 times now for short camping trips. The first time was pouring rain constantly for 3 day (although we were under a dense forest) but no one drop came in, and there's practically no condensation inside. The floor in the middle is excellent because the corners go up, so wind can't blow anything easily inside, and helps with cleanliness and storing luggage. Pods size is great, we usually fit a double size air mattress in one with some space for luggage and two single mats in the other for the children with plenty space for luggage. The height of the middle (and also the pods) is great for us not to be bending at anytime to enter/set up etc.Easy and fast to set up,had to check instructions first and second time but can't mistake now. It can be set by one person but waaaay faster with two.Dew in the morning (in the outside) dries very quickly in the sun or patted with tissue, if you have to leave early and don't want to unpack again for maintenance. It packs easily and comfortably, pack would fit in a smallish suitcase.

We wanted a good sized tent that we could take to Glastonbury next year.. We wanted something inexpensive that wouldn't hurt much if it got damaged or lost. But at the same time enough head room that we didn't have to crawl in and put of. After much research we settled on this tent as it seemed to fit the bill. We received it and tried out the tent outside to get a feel for the assembly etc. Went up with a minimum of arguments but we felt it wold be a struggle with only one person putting it up. Although having taken it down on my own I've thinking its practice its not to bad. The tent itself has three partioned areas.. Two lined bedrooms which you can stand up in and a central room which has two doors either side of the tent.Quality of the material seems strong and reasonable quality some of the taped seams looked a little rushed but for the tent price we are happy. Weight of 10kg is fine and we expect that we can spread the load between the two of us.

This tent is ideal for two friends (one bedroom pod each with plenty of room for personal kit), but might be a bit cramped for four. It very much depends on how you are going to use it.I used it (with a friend) for a weeks camping, with the kitchen/storage areas located elsewhere. For my purposes, it was a great sleeping tent, with plenty of room to store extra items in the central area, good headroom and easy to pitch/dismantle.A good design point was the air vents above the bedrooms - they could be fixed in an open position for ventilation during the day and shut at night. It can get very cold at night with the vents in an open position, as I discovered to my cost...There were also little zippered openings in the sleeping pods,to allow you to run a cable into the sleeping area if you wanted to.Overall, this is a great little sleeping tent.

Ive got another Coleman tent but wanted a bigger one with more cover, this was the cheapest Coleman price I could find at the time.I paid for quicker delivery which it was, no issues there.this is a great product and greatly made with quality, I have another Coleman tent and prefer them so far to others. The tent was easily put up (helpful/better with 2 people but could be done with one person), it survived through small amounts of rain whilst camping with no leaking, good storage and good living area.Regarding size its a 4 man tent however I would say Ive seen bigger 4 man tents out there however that isn't a negative statement, its adequate for 4 people however would say if you were taking a lot of items camping space would soon become non existent but defo enough for me and a few friends to camp in for a short weekend.Cant recommend enough!!

Monday of TT Practice week (1st June 2015) at the Isle of Man TT saw the biggest storm hit the island for decades. 80-90 mph winds ripped through the many camp sites, tearing tents to shreds, breaking poles and removing pegs.Through it all, our 3 year old Coleman Ridgeline + stood majestically from beginning to end. Admittedly we did stick panniers, helmets and all our bedding in the corners to weight it down and held onto the poles outside during stronger gusts but it survived. Many tents didn't. I could run through the alphabet of destroyed tent brands, but we saw a fair few Colemans intact on Tuesday morning. It's nice when your faith in a product is justified.I've been told to buy many different tent brands in the past and those recommendations are now consigned to the camp site bins.

First tent had the poles and ropes missing for the porch but new tent sent straight away. Good customer service. Used the tent at Silverstone for the F1 weekend. Tent was put through its paces with Heavy rain and strong winds at times as well as sun. No water leaks and dealt with the wind while an nearby tent collapsed. Ventilation allowed the tent to cool off when we got back. Fairly easy to put up with the only issue getting the poles through and removing them but not a major issue just a little fiddly.Sleeping areas are big enough to get dressed in with out causing an injury. Central area allows for a table and chairs and some luggage. Not a huge amount of space but pleasant for our needs.Very good value for money and looking forward to its next outing.

I bought this tent because of it's separate sleeping compartments, so we could give the kids, and us, their own sleeping space. The two bedrooms have built in ground sheets and are big enough to fit a double inflatable mattress. The middle has a separate ground sheet, but it does go up about 3" at the edges, so still keeps everything dry. Not that it rained much when we used it! It was plenty big enough for us to stand up in the middle too & enough room for a table & a couple of chairs. It only drops a star because it's a bit hard to put the poles into the special pegs at the bottom & the poles come unattached all the time as you're threading them through, which gets very annoying! All in all I love this tent and would defiantly recommend you buy it!!

Unsure where all the reviews saying this tent was used came from? Mine's definitely new! The zip issue I think a lot of people are reporting is actually just how new double zips come, all you have to do it send the too zip to the top and it's how it's meant to be, all 4 door zips the same! Really nice and spacious and the ridgeline groundsheet will be great for keeping out water and is securely connected by quick fastenings and Velcro. Very easy to put up and I left the inners in (as I am going to a festival soon and it'll be much quicker to put up) and it still fit in its bag! All the pegs and colour coded poles present (even the slots for the poles are colour coded!). Very happy overall.

I've shared this as a 2 man tent with friends, so we both have our own compartment, with a communal space in the middle. It has taken quite a beating over two festival seasons and is still holding up well. With some relentlessly stormy weather during a 6 night festival, this tent was a life saver. Keeping both my friend and our compartments mostly dry, but did no doubt get a bit damp after a while. The communal space is nice and tall, which is great for washing/changing clothes, and the communal ground sheet does a pretty good job at keeping the rain out, with its little side walls. The construction is solid and overall I am very happy with this great communal tent.

Not been camping in years, finally decided to go after considerable time researching tents decided on the Colemon tent. Instructions not so clear but easy to work out and tent went up with no stress and didn’t take very long. Amazed how easy it was and how easy to put down. I would defiantly recommend putting it up for a practice run before camping trip.Second day of the holiday my son broke his arm and ended up on AE. Returned to the camp site around 11: pm and need to pack up and go home. The tent was packed up within 45 minutes the quickest tent I experienced putting away.Lots of space and plenty of room and I’m looking forward to going camping next year.
