My 6yr son and I have just returned from a weekend break in fantastic weather using this tent.Setting up the tent is very simple, which is great as my son quickly decided that football is more fun than helping out so i did it on my own..3 identical sets of poles which easily fit through the mesh and use a pin system to attach to the groundsheet. All peg attachments have easy to pull tensioners so making sure that everything is nice and taut is a doddle. Plenty of guy lines provide good support all round too. It took me around 35 mins to erect this on my own.The tent is well made and - especially for just the 2 of us - very spacious. The sleeping compartment comes with a removable divider and will fit 2 double airbeds and still have some space for keeping rucksacks or suitcases etc.Sleeping 5 may be a squeeze though. There are mesh panels at the top to keep the beasties out while keeping it well aired. The 'living' area is extremely light due to the windows - the main reason I chose the tent - and is also huge. It would easily accommodate a couple of fold up 4 four seat picnic tables and still leave plenty of space. If it rains you won't feel claustrophobic. The front door is very wide making it easy to get your kit in and has a side door on one side.I have 2 little niggles with this tent which have led me to drop a star of the rating. The front door can be help up with king poles - not included - to create a nice little porch/sheltered area to sit under. There is, however, only a mesh screen on the side door. On our very hot weekend I was faced with the choice of either keeping the front door zipped closed and have an unbearably hot tent or risk a few bugs and just leave both doors open to get the air through. My other niggle is that the king poles have to be taken down if you need to fasten the tent up. The guy lines are long enough to be loosened so that the door can be zipped shut without having to remove the pegs each time though.Overall I would heartily recommend this as a family tent. It has some thoughtful little touches - eg Factor 50 UV guard fabric, reflective thread in the guy lines - that probably wouldn't feature highly on your wish list but add to the feeling of a well thought out tent which is very good value for money.

For car tent camping, it's perfect. It has plenty of room. It did take me 20 minutes setting it all up by myself (not the easiest tent I've put up). The porch area has ample space for chairs, table, backpacks and a storage locker(s). The sleeping area sleeps 4 comfortably which also has a divder to split the room if need be. This tent is capable of sleeping 8 if needed. I like the quality. No zipper snags. The nylon material is way better than the ones that are made here in the states. I'm stoked with the pod concept. It keeps condensation off the camper. Condensation still occurs but is left to the outter membrane and off the pod. I like not needing a rainfly.Another clever idea is the draw straps on the bottom corners of the outside of the tent. So after staking down the tent, one can pull onto the strap and really snug it down. The front has great visibility. Crystal clear plastic. (Not sure of the material). I hope it doesn't yellow or crack over time. The only design flaws are all related. The rear window and vents are much too small. And why didn't coleman add a screen to the front entrance? Here in the states, mosquitos and bugs can be pesky while camping. Maybe it's colder in the UK so bugs aren't an issue.. No way would I leave the front entry door up (poles not included) or open and invite every insect in. But if it had a screen, id buy the poles to lift the window/door panel. It would also help with air circulation. The side entry door is great and has a screen to help with air circulation. But it's the only large opening to help vent the tent. The opposite side is just a panel. Why isn't there a window with a screen? The lack of screens is why I couldn't give it 5 stars. I've made too much about screens and vents. A tent is just for sleeping, isn't it? And maybe provide shelter shelter should it rain which this tent is perfect for. It's a very practicle tent. The tunnel style along with its features make this tent super cool!! It did cost 60 pounds to ship but it's well worth it. I would pay it again. It's that good and worth buying!! [...]

Brought this tent after far too much research as always. Tent is well made and fits well unlike some other tunnel tents that seem to suffer from bad material shaping making it difficult to get poles into position. This tent doesnt suffer from many of the niggles other do. And the fully sealed groundsheet with weather strips proved their own on our resent trip to Snowdon. We had near gale force winds and heavy rain and i was up all night due to the noise and worrying if the tent was going to leak or collapse, which it didnt. My only setup warnings i would give it ensure you place the poles through the tent correctly before you bend up as once you have them in place its very hard to adjust the position due to the tight fit.I would forget the instructions as they are useless and just peg out the 4 corners first and put in each pole one at a time and it sort of erects itself (ensure door is slightly unzipped first)Also ensure you use the guide lines to pull the tent tight on the sides as there is not much space between the inner sleeping area and outer side walls. SO with heavy rain and wind it was occasionally gusting and touching together and causing minor leaks. Adjustment of the guide lines was needed, but did seem to need excessive force on the lines to keep the outer shell tight enough in strong winds to avoid this issue.Double airbed fits ok in the larger sleeping compartment, but may struggle in the smaller one if you would like to have a little storage to the side of your bed.Im 5ft 11inch and could just standup in the bedroom compartment which was really nice. There is no way i will be buying a tent which doesn't have a fully sealed porch area again after experiencing a fully sealed one like this..Condensation was not an issue and with the mesh side door it allowed plenty of circulation on sunny days to keep it cool and fresh. All in all very happy with the tent and looks like it will last some years to come.

We have used this tent twice now, once im the coldest june week ever (howling wind made it about 8 deg) and a very wet week in august! Both times the tent survived brilliantly in the weather!! Atayed warm and dry both times. The way the tent it layed out is great, we have used airbeds and there is plenty of space in the bedroom areas. Although i think to sleep 5 you would need to be on roll mats and sleeping bags! The living area is a good size with plenty of room for all your stuff and room to sit at a fold out table. If your starting camping I would recomend this tent, the only thing is I would defo get the extention pack just for an extra room if your going camping for longer than a couple of days, when its rainging and your stuck inside it can feel a bit small.

Wonderful then. Practical and durable. Truly water resistant. We are using it for two years in a row camping. As shown in picture the tent has its floor/bottom on every compartment sew and waterproof which is very important for me. Even in heavy rain your baggage and cloths are dry. The vestibule is not large and very high for living and dining with table but is perfect for storage, dressing up and general stuff. One cons is that tent has only two windows/doors front and right. Light is good but the tent could be more versatile if 3 entrances were available depending on positioning the tent on camp place. Even so great price and would buy again.

Perfect size tent for a family with small children. Packs down to a reasonable size and the bag is generous enough that you can actually get everything in, every time.Construction quality is good and I would imagine - although I haven't yet been in that situation - that it would survive anything but the worst weather. Then the simple tunnel design might show its age.If you've been camping before, then putting it up is easy. If not it will take a couple of goes to get into the swing. One tip is that the "keys" sewn into the tabs insert into the poles at ground level (they're not pegs!)

Nice tent, the youtube video made it look larger and used the 5 man tent. I would like to say it was a great tent for two people, expandable, with a front extension. I purchased in the UK for use in South Korea, the ventilation was not as good as Coleman tents from the USA. But it would be great for use in the UK. easy to put up, took two attempts to fold it down after use. Consider the 5 or 8 man version for a family of four. Note that there is no fly screen on the front main door. We also took out the bedroom wall to make one good sized bedroom.

Took it to a festival having not been able to try it out beforehand, took myself and my partner 20 mins to put it up, beautifully straight forward. Top tip - pin the four corners down first. It was quite windy but the tent stood up to it with no problems. Think it would be a little cramped for five people, but great for four. Plenty of room for table and chairs etc.

This is the second one of this tent I've had, the last one I took all the way to Croatia camping through Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia and back via the Italian Tyrol. We totalled about 200 nights in it and would recommend it which is why we bought another!
