I was a bit sceptical at first, but the tent really does go up very quickly. The poles are logically organised, and there is very little to go wrong. As with all tents, the trick is to get the tension in the sides correct, but that's easier here than on most tents I've put up (which is quite a few ;)The tent is very spacious. I bought the 4-man version, on the basis that I wanted a tent which had PLENTY of room for 3 people. However, having put it to the test, I'm sure the 3-man version would have been more than adequate.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase, and look forward to getting many years of good use from my new tent.

This tent genuinely is easy to put up on your own and in a decent time. I have spinal arthritis and I could manage it on my own. Very well made, beautiful colours, welded groundsheet into sleeping area, and many air vents. This tent will easy sleep 3 but is like a palace for 1 or 2 person situation. Plenty room for a double air mattress and space to store bags both in the sleeping area and outside in its decent sized porch area. I received it today and did a test run before a festival this summer. Here are a couple of photos. Thoroughly recommend if you want a decent reliable and quick tent for fishing, camping or festivals.

I'm new to camping so was looking for something easy to put up and pack away. I've used this tent twice now (including the first trial run in the garden) and am very impressed. It is easy and quick to put up, plenty of room for 2 people (might be a bit snug for 3 but could easily fit 3 in there) and protects well against rain. The air vents really help on hot days and the tent is fully contained so protects you against any bugs / insects getting in. I'm very happy with it. If you plan to go camping where they have hard ground then I would recommend you buy proper rock / hard ground tent pegs.

First off, this is actually a very nice tent. Well made and seems sturdy yet light weight. Good rain shower protection too. But the assembly for the first time is more complicated than what the product marketing blurb suggests - the ground sheet and the upper portion are sent separate and they have to be attached - this is less simple than it sounds and takes about 15 minutes for a novice. Do not be daunted though as it is entirely achievable single handed. Another thing, this can be a 4 person tent at a squeeze, ideally a 3 person tent I would say.

This is a brilliant tent. We've had the Drake 4 for 3 years now and it's great. After the first pitch, once the inner tent is attached, it takes 5 minutes to pitch. It's large enough to accommodate 2 people with plenty of gear for a couple of weeks and it's stood up to several heavy storms (50-60mph winds) without problems so definitely hard wearing and waterproof. The pack size could be a bit smaller, but then again this is not a trekking tent and the oversized bag means you don't have to struggle to get the tent back in.

No pop-up tent. Not for 3 either (unless they are really close). But I knew that. Tethered pole construction a bit fiddly but it works. With a bit of practice, you can probably put it up in a downpour or at night. The inner skin needs pegging to the out skin - there are perhaps 20 loops to do up (tedious). I mark this down because I do not trust the eleastic loops to last long - after pitching it 3 times they appear to be fraying already. Tent is very light and it does go back into its bag.

brought 4 man version, which fits a double mattress in the middle and has nearly 2' / 60cm gap each sideporch is big enough to get out of main tent without unzipping, but not enough to sit in.set up / take down was fairly easy, but video showing set up is misleading and only shows putting the out sheet up, so takes about10-15mins not 5mins as video.nice and ventilated on a hot night and was quite sturdyso far really good tent.

Got this to upgrade our small 3 man dome tent that we use just for overnight stays....we got our 8 man family tent that we use for family holidays .... and have to say am well impressed.... obviously not as big as 8 man.. but pretty spacious....comfortably sleep 4 adults with lots of space in porch area for boots/bags etc... and to top it all fantastic 3000 hydrostatic waterproof.....fantastic buy !

Good product, easy to put up, good value for money and works nicely for a bit of light camping in the spring/summer. Havn’t tried it in heavy rain yet but did get some condensation build up inside the tent that dripped a little, despite the vents being open. Two man tent has more than enough room for one, might be a bit cosy with two but the porch helps for extra space.

Very quick delivery and it seems like a very nice tent. I assembled it in the garden and it all went together nicely but unfortunately there was a guy rope missing and I did not have time to return it for a replacement. I contacted customer service but they could not help (due to lack of time I guess) but this does not detract from the overall quality of the tent!

Easy to erect. Not too big for a motorcycling tent. Very comfortable for one person and two would be fine. Cannot see how three normal sized people would work though! Probably the only down side was the poor through venting to keep the interior cool during hot nights. Otherwise it is a good sensible product that, with appropriate care, should last a few years.

Plenty of space for a two man, porch is pretty big. Used it last weekend in gale force winds and it was steadfast, it also rained a lot, tent was fine, this tent provides loads of ventilation, and I didn't see 1 bit of condensation, only downside was nowhere to hang a lamp

Just returned from my camp out. This tent turned it into an awesomely enjoyable experience, although it won't take "just 5 minutes" to set it up if it's your first time with it. Disassembling was pretty easy too.

Couldn't fault it, me and my son went on a camping trip to the lake district for a few days it held up even when the weather turned to heavy rain and gales while people around us lost there tents.

Tested in garden and seems good quality.......note, you need to connect base sheet and top sheet before the quick hub can work...so I suggest you put this up first time at home.
