FIRST TIME I HAVE USED CLIPON MANTLES WHAT A GREAT IDEA FAR EASIER THAN FAFFING AROUND TRYING TO TIE ON BITS OF COTTON.

The Colman lamp is ok but could not it to light with the electric ignition had to light it with a lighter

Spare mantles as supplied with lantern. Instaclip is fine and less fiddly than string if done properly.

Good quality mantles, I use in my Coleman Northstar Lantern and they last well so recommend these.

Essential as mantles are fragile - I always carry a pack of three (!)
