I used this tent for the first time last weekend. It took me about 20 minutes to put up and peg down in dry but windy conditions. It is impressively long and provides reasonable sleeping space for two. If you're using 2 single air beds though, double check their width as mine would not lie flat side by side. Storage in the front porch area is ample but don't over-do it as it would be very easy to block one or more of the three entry points. I left most of my stuff in the car which was parked right next to the tent.In the true spirit of camping, the wind blew in the rain clouds. The rain started off as a drizzle but grew steadily stronger over the next 10 hours. The Coastline proved itself more than capable of fending off the onslaught and keeping me dry. It is a good idea to keep a towel just inside the "door" you use as any water on the roof will pour / drip into the porch area whenever you open it during or following rain. The tent shell, sleeping pod, ground sheet, poles and pegs arrive immaculately presented in a Coleman branded bag that is just small enough to ensure you can never get everything back in to it again. Either see this as a challenge thrown down by the manufacturers and allow some extra time to pack or just buy a bag big enough to take everything; maybe even the gas stove, plates, sleeping bags etc.All in all a well priced, good quality tent for 1 or 2 people.

Went camping with this tent last weekend - it comes in 3 main pieces - the outer sheet, the sleeping flysheet and sewn-in groundsheet, and a separate groundsheet that is loose for the entrance section of the tent. It goes up fairly quickly (took me about 20 mins the first time) but is a bit fiddly. I wouldn't really want to put it up in the rain since I think it could end up a bit wet at the end... Because its not a dome shape, when putting up the outer shell you do need to use the guy ropes in order to be able to keep the tent stable, but its not too much of a hassle. The inner groundsheets just clip into the outer when that's put up.Given it 4 stars as its a bit more difficult and fiddly to put up than a regular dome, but then it is bigger when its up and also quite a lot cheaper than a comparable sized tent. Plenty of space for bags etc in the inner storage area, and if it gets messy in there would be easy to clean out as its separate from the flysheet. Pleased in general with this.

First time used it was one year ago. I was extremely impressed with the product, but I wanted to use it a couple more times before I gave my recommendation. Hence, I waited one year before I write this review.Considering the amount I paid, it is an incredible purchase. I am very satisfied with the quality of the material and the comfort while using it. The tent has two main rooms, shown in the plans as well. Both are very specious. It takes some time to build it (apprx. 15 - 20 min), but when it is done it can withstand heavy rain and wind. My only remark would be to build it in a way that the small window (ventilation hole) on the back faces the direction from which the wind blows. There are two more of those on the front. This way you can have a pretty good air circulation in your tent.If you are looking for a tent for two, with a reasonable price; I can only recommend that you get one Coleman Coastline Plus Two Man Tent.Cheers!

A nice little tent, and not just nice for the price, although I wouldn't pay any extra for a tent of this size. It is very comfortable for me and my son to stay in. We've only had a 3 nighter in it so far, but we could easily have stayed in it for a week. It rained non stop for about 20 hours, and no leaks. Make sure the bottom of the front door is outside the porch groundsheet tho, so water doesn't collect in the porch. Very easy to put up, and take down. A tight squeeze to get it back in its back, but in good weather with some time, I'm sure I could pack it as well as when it came. Enough height in the porch to sit on a camping stool to eat, without my head touching the roof. I'm 5' 6" tho.I'm a rugged no luxuries sort of camper, so this was perfect for us. Other people may prefer to be able to stand and walk about in their tent, but this feels like the best tent I couldve got for my needs and the price

Set the tent up on the first rain free day, and it went together nicely. A similar design to that of the Vango tents that I've had for over 10 years, and of which I still have 2.The only disappointment was that:1. The elastic broke on one of the tent poles upon the first assembly, which will mean I'll have to get replacement elastic to thread through - which based on previous experience - is not easy to do. Maybe someone from the good people from Amazon could sent us a replacement? Please?2. There were no extra tent poles for the front flap - which would have been a nice touchSo overall a good looking and well made tent - for the price. We'll see how it deals with the rain when we all go off to Glasto in June ;)Fingers crossed....

The downside is it is hard to fit it back in, after the first unpack (but which tent isn't?). The "assembly philosophy" is different from the other tents (you put together the OUTSIDE first, then the INSIDE will fit in it), but even if you do mistakes, it's forgiving and will keep up even with easy wind or light rain. 2 people fit comfortably, space in the opened area more than 2 big backpacks fit easily. The bottom part of the outside tends to "glue" with the inside, making it wet internally if it rains: just be more accurate when mounting that.We assembled it for the first time at night, with only a lamp and after a 10 hrs flight + 32hrs without sleep: we did not freeze,so it has to be easy!

As advertised I found the tent really easy to put up: even on my own in quite strong wind. Instructions clear except for the ground sheet in the living area. Managed that by trial and error. Compared to my previous tiny tent it was much more spacious and due to the three doors I felt safe cooking in shelter. No leaks despite heavy rain.Would have liked an extra hook at the entrance to the sleeping area to hang a light. The only disappointment was the missing poles to create the awning that was clearly present in the pictures and video. I thought that was a misrepresentation, particularly when you can't even buy them seperately. That was poor, I thought.

I bought this product after searching for quite sometime for a tent that would suit my needs, i find the packed size good for putting on my motorbike and the storage space great for the rest of my kit! it held up well when the heavens opened up keeping me nice and dry, over all it's a very good product, i'm very pleased with it, though i would say, a quick "dry run" before hitting the camp site a must! it helped me a great deal when after setting up the flysheet, the rain poured down, but i managed to put the rest up without getting myself or my kit wet.

Great tent, lets through lots of daylight so feels very open and airy. However very tight sleeping space for two people. We only have small matts and there was no room for our belongings in the sleeping compartment. Porch is big, but I wouldn't want to leave belongings out there, as might get damp. Removable floor in porch is great as would keep out rain. Perhaps not the best shaped tent for wind, I noticed it rocking about a lot in the wind. I am returning it and getting the Coleman Tasman 3 instead for the above reasons.

Great tent bought to be taken on the back of my motorcycle and just used it last weekend, it didn't take long to put up about 10mins for the outer shell and 2mins to fit the inner bed room. As one of my friends has one I did like he said and folded it up with the inner still fitted which will be quicker to put up the next time I use it. Really am impressed with this tent and has more than enought room for one or two persons with the front porch to store your things in.

Got this tent for just me. Ideal size for one person and having quite a spacious porch size can be handy for bags/shoes you don't want in the bedroom. Can't fit two single air beds side by side but if you was using camping mats instead there would not be a problem. Nice and cosy and packs well into a bag. Colour coded poles makes it easier to distinguish front and back poles. Used this for two years straight and it has not let me down!

Great tent for a great price. It took me 20 mims to set it up but I'm sure I could do it quicker next time. Loved how you put the flysheet up first then the actual tent this is useful for when it's raining at pitch time. I also got it back into the tent bag when packing up. The tent is very rigid and appears to be well made. I haven't had it out in heavy rain yet, but living in Scotland that's sure to happen soon!

Fantastic piece of kit, I can't recommend enough!I took this to Le Man 2015 and it rained sideways heavy for 3 days day and night, the tent was dry as a bone inside. We kept knocking off small build ups of water on the roof and it was perfect.Incredibly easy for one drunk man to put up after a 6 hour drive, it took about 20 minutes. I'm sure you could do it a lot quicker if you were sober!

Only used it once...and it rained all night but kept everything dry. Plenty of room and not difficult to put up. I'd get a slightly bigger bag though as you'll struggle to re-pack it.I found this one which is big enough but not too big which would make expeditions over complicated/heavy.https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00I64GIIK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Came in a lightweight, easy to carry bag.Set up was simple and straightforward, took less than 10 minutes from glancing at the instructions. Not only did it keep out the wind and rain of the Scottish highlands, but also kept out the midges as well.Easy to pack away the morning after, even in wind, rain and mud.Couldn't recommend enough, excellent quality for price.
