The lock mechanism for the doors is just terrible. The keys only turn a few degrees and require quite a lot of force to operate. Even when successful the tolerances are so poor that some doors stay shut and others flop about. My daughter finds it incredibly frustrating and so do I. I can only assume they never playtested it with actual children.
