Only had this 3 weeks.. first trip was to the NYMR videoing City of wells. 2nd Beamish steam fair weekend. The camera is VERY easy to use but can be more complex if required. I must admit it does everyting I need on auto mode. It either records or does not.. There is no pause which to me is a big bonus as over the last couple of years I have had a few shots of my feet and Grass to edit out when my old camera never actually paused. the colours and picture quality are excellent,especially picking out pipework on steam engines and traction engine with nice clear focus. I have 3 batteries so far I have only had to use one with power to spare.

This is a lovely nearly small footprint cam. It has a great zoom, fits snugly in your hand, the touch screen controls are easy to understand and the ability to take a pic whilst shooting video is very handy indeed. However, the downside is that you need to have UNP (Universal plus and play) enabled on your router to allow external access, the monitoring and remote control features will not work. The picture on screen is a little grainy if on high zoom. Also, the battery is rather bulky and makes an obvious bump in your bag if left attached. All in all recommended, with above considerations, for the pricepoint and a handy device to keep in car or bag for those fun moments.
