I bought this filter to be able to shoot video at F2.8, F4 or lower during a day time which is impossible without ND filter considering a fact that you have to shoot mainly at 50 shutter speed.It is a single coated version cost me £67.00. For some reason the price went up to about £100.00 now. Not sure if my was an old stock of something, nevertheless this filter is a good quality and initial tests are very positive.Will use this mainly for video but I've tested it for stills as well. It says on the description of the product ('Because of its higher transmission in the red beyond 660 nm, this filter brings a slightly warm tone to color photographs'), that this filter gives you some warm tone into your photographs,

I have bought a lot of B&W filters because they are a quality product and in my opinion worth paying that bit extra. Normally I buy the "top of the rang" Nano coated ones but seeing as how I probably will not use this very often I went for the single coated.

I really like the tone these filters add to photographs. I tend to use these filters in hard landscapes and their not always easy to screw on securely so take extra care as they can get scratched.

anyone know's if b+w had a holder system like LEE? I want to put together my 3.0 ND with the 1.6 ND filter. Thanks
