Great pattern to follow. The dress I made looked authentically medieval. Spend some time at the beginning pinning the pattern together and 'trying it on', in order to adjust it to your own size. The pattern spans a range of sizes, so, if you're small, it needs taking in and taking up a lot, where indicated, otherwise you'll find yourself becoming an expert in alterations later on!!
