I have two of these lights, both bought from Amazon, for two bikes. I can say that they are superior to another Busch & Muller rear light that I bought previously. The Toplight Line Plus stays on, illuminated, when you are stationary, say at traffic lights. Apparently it will stay on for four minutes. I have never found it to go off when I am stationary. This is in contrast to the previous Busch & Muller rear light, an earlier model that Amazon does n't stock anymore, where the light goes off when you are stationary, after about fifteen seconds. With that light I always had to have a battery rear light as well, when it was dark. Now with the Toplight Line Plus, I don't need a battery rear light. The light stays on and it is wonderfully visible. The experts rate this light very highly. I would agree with them. This is the rear light to have. When you want to park the bike, you can turn the light off, using the switch at the back on the right hand side. This means that just as with the front light, you save the power that you have generated. It is a real pleasure to use this rear light on the bikes. I recommend this light very highly

Great light - nice and bright. Fitted to my Brompton to replace original Brompton one which lasted three years. Required fitting of a new cable from front dynamo to rear as the original Brompton one was not long enough (the Brompton wiring comes up via the offside, whereas the light connection is on the near side - so my original cable was about 2" too short to re use). Used daily over 9 months ( I just leave it on) The stand light function stopped working for a bit meaning I was a sitting duck at junctions. Maybe just bad luck bought it started working again right after I bought a like for like replacement.I think the Brompton light position is a fairly harsh environment so I added some extra waterproofing to the top seal of the light as it look like water would get in quite easily between the lens and casing).

Very good light. Good and bright without dazzling those behind. Light in weight. I have it paired with a B&M front light that means it turns on and off with the front light switch. Very convenient. If you have a dynamo, this is a fit and forget item. The instructions are not very clear for the UK. I had to buy connectors to fit the cable to the unit even though I had kept the cable (that comes with the front light but not the rear). The connectors are marked + and - but I believe this is only relevant if using with a separate battery pack.(The dynamo produces A.C.) For information the connectors are 3mm crimped female spade type available from auction sites or electronic parts retailers.

This is a very cleverly designed light. At close range it looks like a pair of red LEDs, but (my friends tell me) from a distance of more than about 20m the fresnel lens turns the two LEDs into a line producing a bright bar of light. B&M claim that this makes it easier for following vehicles to judge the distance (when compared with a light that is a point source of light). The light is kind to other cyclists following closely because the lens does not throw light into their eyes causing dazzle. There is no flashing mode.which some people might consider a drawback (although not cycling companions following closely) but I'm very happy with the steady bright red bar.

Having used the Lumitec IQ Cyo for some years I decided to pair it up with this. First of all the fitting was very easy as I remembered to keep the cable that came with the front light, as has been mentioned this comes with no cable. The light it self is actually very good, it forms a decent size block of light, not blinding but more than enough to be noticed and it will never run dim due to battery's running out. the advantage is it is always on so even in those dawn dusk times its running so you become more visible.I would without hesitation recommend it if your running a dynamo.

This thing is absolutely tiny, but provides just as much light as the huge (battery operated) light I replaced it with. The light has fittings for both spade connections (look on ebay or wherever for 2.8mm crimp terminal female spade connectors, which you can use to finish the ends of the connecting wire and plug into the terminals on the light - I just used some old speaker cable to connect up to my front light) and bare wire ends. Easy to fit, routing the wire is the tricky bit! Would highly recommend.

If you have a hub dynamo ( there is a battery version too) and can find somewhere to fix this to your cycle if you don't have a rack, then you will not be disappointed.Although I review this unit here, I actually wanted ( and got) the Brake version which illuminates more when you slow your cycle.(This is operated by the bicycle hub dynamo unit as previously mentioned)Well-designed and highly visible, it is a great safety advantage for the cyclist.I commend it if you are in search of a rear lamp.

This is a very good rear light with the added bonus of a "brake" function.Traffic is a constant pain when on the roads, so having a brake light that dramatically increases in intensity when I slow down, is a MAJOR plus & I've noticed a big difference in the amount of space now given to me by passing vehicles since I fitted this.I use a SON dynamo on my front wheel & I found the fitting a doddle.Definitely recommended :)

I have been using this light mounted on my touring/ commuting bike for several years of riding in the Pacific Northwest. Power is supplied by a dynamo hub. It has worked flawlessly. The light is bright enough even on the most dismal rainy winter days to safely commute my 25km trek to work. I don’t even think about the light anymore, just ride and it comes on

Bright light, dynamo powered so no batteries. Quick to start from initial move off, stays on for 4-5mins after stopping, can be turned off with switch if don’t want to attract attention at end of journey/locked up in town. Only had it a few weeks, ride a lot in the dark and just feel this will serve me well, over time.

Very bright, easy to fit to my Brompton with Shimano hub dynamo using the existing wiring (the old light failed and I wanted something more reliable). Has two connection options, plug or poke bare wires into holes and use switch to close them - I used the poke method.

Great on its own but perfect when paired with Busch & Müller Cyo T Senso Plus LED Front Light. Bright when lit but the system is so clever. It won't come on until the front light is switched on, but then it stays on even when the bike is stopped.

This is a quality light, well made and produces a very good light from even slow speeds. Also remains on for a really long time after stopping! Ideal for use on the back of a carrier (with correct bracket).

Excellent small compact light with good reflector stays lit after very little distance ridden I also had the Busch & Muller rack mount so it all fitted up very nicely on my PWD paydock rack.

Bought for husband, he is happy with it, no problems with delivery. Had to puzzle out the German fitting instructions, got there in the end.
