Excellent quality light. I've used this light for about 8 months commuting on unlit cycle paths in Oxford and on city streets in London. Where this light excels is riding where there is no street lighting. The "hi-beam" provides ample light to ride at speed and the beam is focused on the road ahead. "Low-beam" is perfectly suitable for riding in town. It is the best light I've used in 50 years of cycling. My light came with 4 rechargeable batteries and you can use regular AA batteries in a pinch. Now, for the weakness of the light: After 8 months, the lever on the bracket snapped and I don't think it should have (see pictures). I've ordered a replacement but it is back-ordered with uncertain delivery.

Arrived timeously (earlier than predicted, in fact). Package was as described, contained the batteries and charger as well as the light. The light is as I'd expect from other reviews - somewhat plastic body, dubious battery case locking, adequate light for lowish speed riding. It does mot dazzle, but whether it is adequate to alert drivers I'm not convinced.

Superb cycling lights. Proper beam pattern illuminates the road and doesn't dazzle others, unlike many high power torches sold as cycling lights.Switchable power level, low level is good in town, high is good for unlit roads.

Excellent quality very bright and great range really like the separate deflector to stop you dazzling other road users typical German quality engineering
