I have now owned a Brooks B67 saddle for 9 years, and at the moment do upwards of 1000 miles a year commuting back and forward to work on a variety of surfaces (roads, farm tracks and field paths) in all weathers. I am, shall we say, heavily built (18 stones or so). I use a very upright riding position on a Raleigh Oakland. In the past I have had a variety of saddles that all had the same problems. 1) they all broke in less than a year and 2) they were all buttock breaking torture devices that made cycling a pain to be endured rather than a pleasure. Brooks have changed all that for me. The saddle took a few rides to break in (I am not sure if I broke the saddle in or if it broke me in!)and needed adjusting a time or two to get the weight distribution perfect, but after that it has been an absolute delight that has transformed cycling into a real joy for me, and made me use the bike instead of the car a lot more. It has a sturdy construction and a wide seat that is perfect for the upright position I prefer and the wide posterior that I own. The springs iron out so much of the bumpy road surface that it will change your view of cycling altogether. It needs a little upkeep, it is important to make sure the leather is properly tensioned and a bit of leather conditioner doesn't go amiss, but after a few thousand miles this is still just as comfortable and looks just as good as when I first started using it. A brilliant saddle, 5 stars.

Amazingly well made product!! The saddle truly is a beautiful work of art. I am just getting used to how it feels on my bottom it's not painful, just "different". It is my first leather saddle so for me there is a bit of a break in period. I am 130 pounds and I feel the springs working so occasionally making noises, so they are definitely not just for show.My fiance says once I break it in I will never ride on anything but brooks! Ha! Only time will tell!

My wife has as filled 1.5 storage bins (BIG ones!!) of used saddles including a couple of expensive Terry's over the 16+ years she as a tandem stoker. The Brooks Flyer (B67S) she now rides is the CLEAR winner! Half way into the first ride her commented that it was taming the bumps and why we turned around she said the her foot no longed "tingled". The BIG win is that she is really putting the power the to pedals!

Wasn't sure if I was a huge Brooks saddle fan or not after my experience with the B17. I decided to give it another go and this one fits me perfectly--for a lady. Great for touring and riding several hours at a time. Immediately comfortable right out of the box, and I love the textured leather that makes you not slide around in the saddle. Great choice for ladies who like comfortable, classic looking bikes.

I have been using this for a year. I ordered the aged tan color. I absolutely love it. The first time I used the saddle it was uncomfortable, as time went on it became super comfortable. Fabulous, I was bought a new bike for my birthday and after suffering from a very uncomfortable saddle area for a week I decided enough was enough. I googled comfortable saddles and Brooke's Saddles ticked all the boxes. Wow....from the word go my saddle is so comfortable and judging by the reviews, wll continue to mould to fit to perfection. Love it, love it. Ride for miles without a sore tush! No wonder Brooks has been in business forever, they have a great product. This is the most comfortable seat I have ever used. I will buy another for my other bike. I am a commuter and joy rider. Bought one for my sister for Christmas, because she loved mine. This seat makes you want to get out and ride!

This is a very hard saddle, although I expect it will soften somewhat with use and application of the waxy stuff. That said, my husband swapped his very padded saddle for this one and says it’s very comfortable. It is without doubt a good quality item - I would purchase again but get the feeling my husband will wear out befor the saddle does ;)

I love this seat! I took it out of the box, put it on my bike and it was love on the first ride. On my first few rides the seat felt a little slippery but either I've gotten used to it or it's not quite so slick anymore. It amazes me that a hard leather seat (with springs) is so much more comfortable than squishy gel seats but it really is.

Brooks saddles are like marmite - they say if it's not reasonably comfortable on Day 1 it never will be, but even if it, you face a long break-in period. Fortunately for me, this was comfortable straight out the box, and instantly relieved awful coccyx pain that every other saddle I'd tried had given me. Plus it will last a lifetime :)

Not much to say - these are the best and you pay for quality.Only ccomment worth making is that the hide top is (attractively) textured and (because or in addition to this) is much more flexible than the standard brooks saddles - so more instantly comfortableLooks fantastic on the vintage bike i've added it to - but at a price!

The saddle was just like it was pictured not as it was advertised. It has black springs not chrome plated like it hints at in the description, which is fine by me cause I ordered based on the picture. Quality saddle for a good price. Could not find this one at LBS at this price so ordered here instead. Thumbs up!

I've had this saddle for over 2 years, and boy did I put some use to it! I would bike 30-40 miles any day I had off. The quality is great (c'mon, its brooks). One thing is, I just recently got mine stole :( a lot of the theives also know this is a good saddle, so be mindful and chain your saddles!!

Would be almost ideal if it was more like Brooks Flyer Imperial but significantly wider than 170 mm. Just as I thought the nose feels like it's pressing too much on the perineum. Something which would work on upright and 45 degree position would be good depending on the riding mood and tiredness.

This saddle takes a little getting used to but after a short while, it is comfortable even though it is hard to the touch. It is very high quality and looks much nicer on my black women's bike than the black saddle that came standard....go figure.
