I love my Black Diamond trekking poles. I bought them in 2011 when I started having serious knee problems. After having both knees replaced in June of 2011, they helped me through my recovery. Later that year I had to have additional surgery on both legs. These poles haven allowed me to get out hiking on a regular basis. I was going to an event where I needed my trekking poles, but did not want the baskets on them. I removed them, but when I put them back on, I must not have gotten one one properly. My next hike in muddy conditions resulted in losing one of the baskets. The new ones arrived as ordered, installed easily, and are doing the expected job.

I do lots of hiking and backpacking and use these smaller baskets to localize pole grips. I also use these smaller baskets on my xcntry ski poles on groomed trails to allow the poles to grip better with less surface area so the poles do not bounce off the snow which happens with larger baskets. The small baskets are easily removable to exchange for the larger baskets in un-groomed snow.

Not much to these... but I will say that they screw on very easily and very securely. I wasn't sure exactly why these were needed, but read that it helps the poles from sinking too far into soft ground. Made sense to me.

Easy to install, fast shipping and gets the job done. Ready for another trip in the backcountry. Thought they would be a little bigger though.

Although it is not exactly the same model that came with my Black Diamond is good replacement and option to not have to buy again canes

These fit on my Black Diamond trekking poles very nice and function very well to soften the sounds as you walk on rocks.

I bought my black diamond trekking poles to make less noise on tar. Very good, and good grip.
