Besides their weight is light, these spikes have the distinction of not much "kick" than other brands. Is it because they are stainless steel? In any case, the snow is much less grip than other competing models. A very good quality / price ratio, and high quality workmanship.

I have had these crampons for about 6 years with intense use on glaciers and mixed ice-rocky terrain and perform perfectly. Getting a replacement due to heavy use.
