Monocular was delivered on time and well packaged. This product has exceeded my expectations in several area's. Firstly the optics are excellent, super clear images with no obvious optical aberrations. I bought the 8 x magnification which is easy to use as recommended by various journals. The focussing ring is quite stiff, but this aids in being able to set up fine focus and prevents it from easily slipping off focus. The device is robust and well made, comes with an adequate padded bag with lanyard. I didn't expect anything as good as this for only £30.00 or so. Thoroughly recommended. So much easier and less faff than binoculars.

Small and light, comfortable to carry in jacket pocket. Basic case with belt loop included. The 8x magnification and bright image are excellent for wildlife spotting, whilst avoiding too much shake caused by involuntary movement, which can impact usability of monos with greater magnification. The rotating focus is is appropriately stiff, holding focus between viewings, and has a range to accommodate moderate visual impairment. There is an extending eyecup which isn't shapes to block peripheral light. Overall, excellent quality and value.

I purchased this eight months ago and was initially very pleased with it. With a little practice it becomes quick and instinctive to use and the optical quality in an instrument so cheap, light and portable is remarkable. My only issue has been that it let in water during a short trip out in drizzly rain last month. However, the seller has replaced it under warranty with no quibble and I'm hopeful that the replacement will indeed be waterproof (as stated in the product details). Will try to post an update in due course.

Excellent Monocular for the price with very high optical specification, strong casing, weatherproof, nitrogen filled, non-fogging and step adjustment eye-caps. Yes, the focussing ring is a bit stiff, but not more than those of my full size B&S Binoculars. From experience the focussing ring should become smoother with use. Only gripe is that the wrist strap is difficult to fit; you need to separate the plastic clip to pass the strap through the twine fixing loop.

Good product, its light and easy to hold, as previous reviews have said the "focus wheel" is quite stiff to turn and at higher resolution the image does start to de-grade, but fine for the price and it's tough/waterproof which is great. The pouch it comes with over sized for some reason, but overall happy with monocular...Reason for not giving it 5 starts is the stiff focus wheel and the loss of clarity at higher res...

I returned a previous purchase due to a slight fault in the object lens. Although this monocular is lower powered the image is very clear. Although the focusing ring is fairly stiff, once accurate focusing is achieved, there is no need to re-focus as the depth of field of this monocular is very wide.

Like other reviewers I find the focus quite stiff but otherwise I'm happy. I needed something compact to fit into my buoyancy aid for kayak trips and it does the job. Still remains to see the effect of wet environment on operation.If it's a problem I will try and update this review.

This monocular fits very easily into a pocket and gives a clear, sharp view. The quality, for the price, is excellent. I suffer from tendonitis, in both wrists, but have no difficulty at all adjusting the monocular. Perfect for a dog-walking nature lover.

Good Quality and good size to just put in the p.o. Let if going on a quick walk ... Just in case you need to watch something on the horizon

This monocular has proved better than I expected. Very clear optics. I use it to get a good view of objects for taking pictures. Excellent.

Very pleased with this and the best monocular I have ever owned. Small enough to fit in pocket and a good clear image. Recommended.

Good monocular, lightweight and a good picture. Easy to carry and use. Not yet used much at low light.
