I had done quite a bit of research before buying into the dragon shields. Having recently bought into Magic the Gathering I wanted to protect some of my new rare cards. The Dragon Shields seemed to be the best option for me.I wanted something that would stand the test of time, would fit the cards snuggly and would be nice to shuffle. These cards fit the bill. I went with a plain back as I didn’t want the backs of the MTG to show through, although I’m convinced that any colour would be thick enough to block the backs of the cards. For MTG cards they fit perfectly. There is a small amount of extra room at the top of the sleeve to allow for enough cover so that the card doesn’t have the chance to be exposed, but looking at and feeling the card you wouldn’t know it was there. They fit perfectly in the width of the card as well, not so tight it’s scraping down the sides but tight enough that the card won’t be slipping out of the sleeve. The cards shuffle nicely, not overly slippy but they don’t stick together as some cheaper brands may.I was so happy with these cards that when I bought Marvel Legendary I decided I was going to sleeve the entire game. The cards for this game mark very easily and I was keen to keep them in pristine condition. Only problem is there are 500 cards in the base set and at £7-£8 per 100 sleeves it’s not cheap to sleeve the game (in fact its possibly cheaper to buy a backup game) I then also quickly found that when I bought an expansion that I’m having to buy further sleeves as the cards need to be unidentifiable to be able to use the draw piles. Never the less I’m glad I sleeved them as I don’t have to worry about scuffing up the cards.I’m confident as well that you can remove and replace cards in these sleeves if you see fit, they retain their shape perfectly. One thing to bear in mind is because these cards are such high quality they are also quite thick. I would say that they treble the thickness of a single card (the back, the card, then the front) theres no air inbetween to further bulk out but if you work on a x3 in size. I found this to be an issue for legendary as I couldn’t fit my base set and dark citys expansion all in the main box together, ive got round this though by simply taking out some of the heroes that I never use and leaving them in the expansion box.Having now bought around 7 or 8 boxes of these (so 700 – 800) I’ve not had a single breakage or reject. I’m very happy with these sleeves and I would use them to sleeve any further games. They are expensive but I think with Dragon Shield you only have to buy once, as they will last even if you swapped around your sleeves into different games.

There are so many card sleeves out there that it is difficult to know which one to get - I certainly felt overwhelmed after hunting over many reviews across YouTube and Amazon. Eventually, I decided to go for these 'Dragon Shield' as I needed a starting point. I collect Pokemon cards and for those extra special ones I wanted to give them extra protection. These delivered exactly what I needed, which was to have the protection but also fit into a standard card folder (double loaded). Being thin with such a slick back and front they slide into the file easily. As a slight drawback, if any, is the window of the slip doesn't show off the full shine of the special cards - which I'm not overly botheredabout really - but if you're wanting to show off the full card with no sacrifice on the shine then there might be a better protective slip out there.Bigger drawback - I don't know whether to get more of the silver ones, and have a consistency to my collection, or get a different colour and have a sense of randomness, or colour code the collection.Additional: I don't play the Pokemon card game, but as a stack, these feel nice and are very easy to shuffle. Maybe a little too easy as they slide so easily and this may be a problem or it may be exactly what you're after.Lastly they're are a great price and I will be getting more when this box runs low.

Firstly I'd like to note that these deck protectors *are* suitable for Magic the Gathering cards (I noticed that it wasn't mentioned in the product description so I thought It'd be useful to mention it here).I've tried a few different brands of deck protectors over the years and these are by far my favourite. The biggest plus for me is that they are easy to shuffle thanks to the edges of the deck protectors being tapered. In contrast I've got lots of decks in Ultra Pro deck protectors that aren't at all easy to shuffle because the edges are thick and squared off. This means I have to riffle shuffle my Ultra Pro decks to get a good shuffle (which isn't good for the cards or deck protectors).I don't need to riffle shuffle any of my Dragon Shield decks.I've only given 4 stars for durability because I've had a few of these split over the years. It doesn't happen too often but it's worth mentioning. I've not had any Ultra Pro's split on me, but I'd still choose these over the Ultra Pro's despite the splitting.I highly recommend buying these protectors! I'm in the process of getting rid of all of my Ultra Pro's and replacing them with these.

More or less the best available card sleeves for trading card games such as Magic. The cards sit flat when sleeved and stacked in a deck or in a box, and they are robust and do not damage when being shuffled. The shuffle is very smooth, the cards do not stick together at all, they slide. They mash shuffle very easily. Possibly overkill for purposes of drafting, these are the kind of sleeves you keep your regular decks in as they will most likely last out entire formats without breaking, even with regular use.The colour is a pleasant deep warm red-brown (not bright orange as suggested). The window is transparent and gives high contrast views of the cards - although they are gloss,so there will be light reflected if you are playing under direct strong lighting. There have been reports that Dragon Shield have changed their process for some of their newer products, but this colour was produced before those runs began.

When it comes to sleeves for trading card games you can't really go wrong with Dragon Shield. The finish on the back gives a great feeling to the cards and are easy to shuffle. It is very uncommon for these sleeves to split unless they are heavily used. I used mine about 45 times before I got a single split and that was more my carelessness than the sleeve quality. These are great if you want to double sleeve your cards by pairing them with KMC perfect fit sleeves. The only other sleeves that I would recommend on the market place right now would be the ultra pro eclipse sleeves but they are about twice the price at the time of writing this review and only come with 80 sleeves in a box as opposedto Dragon Shields 100.

I saw a lot of people had bought these for game cards or trading cards. I bought them to protect my Kpop Photocards. The cards fit in perfectly, the measurements are exact and uniform. They fit exactly into 9 pocket Ultra Pro sleeves. I was worried as out the box they look quite curved but once cards are inside them they flatten out pretty well and are very good quality. You can see through the coloured backs slightly but that didn’t bother me at all as I stored them back to back in the ultra pro sleeves - so you can fit two with cards in them into one pocket! The colour was true to the listing and overall I couldn’t be happier, great value for money, will repurchase as my collection grows!

Dragon Shield Sleeves are some of the best sleeves I've tried so far for sleeving my Pokemon cards.Unlike alot of premium sleeves, dragon shield sleeves really are made of a thick durable plastic. Hard wearing and give abit of rigidity to the card you're sleeving. 100 sleeves in a box and the box even comes in handy for then storing your sleeved cards afterwards.Cheaper than most places I've seen and well worth the purchase if you want to give your cards an decent layer of protection. You can fit two cards in a sleeve just fine, so if you want to sleeve holo/non holo of the same card in a sleeve. You can then put that into a toploader. So lots of optiions.Well worth the money.

The dragon shield are great! they’re think to make sure your card is protected and stays in place (if you use a binder for your cards) they are completely toxic free so they won’t damage your cards. however i have noticed they have gone up in price recently due to pokemon cards becoming popular. normally they go for around £6/$6 but due to pokemon cards becoming popular again and protective sleeves being high demand they’ve gone up to £9/$10 so just keep that in mind :)the protective sleeves are thick enough to protect your cards but are clear enough that you can still see your card and doesn’t add any discolouration to your card. very durable protective sleeves too!

These are incredibly expensive for sleeves, but you REALLY will notice the difference in quality. I'm no major player by any means (bought these for my starter pack of Android:Netrunner), but having bought cheaper sleeves as comparison (mayday penny sleeves) there is no comparison. My only regret is that 2 packs still isn't quite enough to sleeve all my starter pack cards. But no doubt they'll be enough when I settle into my favourite decks and playstyles. So, expensive, but these really will look after your cards and they are perfectly cut for easy swapping in and out but without any fear of them falling out. Oh, and they stack nicely and feel great in your hand!

Dragon Shield Sleeves are personally the best solution i've found for protecting Magic cards. They are very smooth and shuffle quickly, as well as having a very nice gloss appearance. This gloss doesn't interfere as much with play due to glare as most cheaper sleeves do, but obviously it's still an issue as is the case with every card sleeve. I haven't had any of them tear or begin to peel apart from normal regular use, and even testing pulling them open quite hard still (usually) leaves them intact.I also appreciate the fact that the box they come in is an effective deck box, better than most cardboard ones though nothing extraordinarily special.

I only ever use dragon shield sleeves for my MTG decks. They are far superior to ultra pro sleeves and last forever without breaking at the same time as providing a nice shuffle feel and overall great protection. I recently decided to buy these for my flip / meld cards and what do you know they are the exact same quality as all other dragon shield sleeves. They allow for double sleeving, they are high quality clear plastic that have the exact same feel as the others in my collection. Well done dragon shield. You provide us with the best.

Having purchased the King of Tokyo: Dark board game and knowing it to be a more limited run I decided to order some card sleeves for the first time in my life. These are good sturdy sleeves that seem very resistant. In fact I liked them so much I ordered another pack same day I recieved my first to also sleeve my Dauntless: Normandy game cards. Finally the dragon art and little fantasy paragraphs on the box are a great little bit of flavour (though that really doesn't impact on the review score or product)

These are absolutely the best clear sleeves on the market. If you need to display both sides of a card (for example MTG flip cards, LotR quests or Arkham Horror investigators) or simply like the artwork on the back then these will display them perfectly. Admittedly they aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for: no branding obstructs any part of the surface, easily fits double-sleeved cards and the gloss really shows off foils.

I play Magic The Gathering 24 7 and Dragon Shield Sleeves are BRILLIANT for Magic The Gathering Nerds (like me) and I would definetly recommend them to any Magic The Gathering Nerd. These Sleeves are very very strong, they are like Titanium they are so strong. The feel of these Sleeves is FANTASTIC.The delivery is very fast aswell :),I would and will definetly recommend Dragon Shield Sleeves to Magic The Gathering Nerds!

Unlike the coppers (which fell apart at the drop of a hat) the silvers are indestructible. I tend to corner-shuffle, which is hard on sleeves. The silvers have kept together better than any of the other sleeves I've tried. An EDH deck that requires constant shuffling through each game has been sleeved with these for more than a year of pretty regular use, and has suffered zero sleeve casualties.
