The sloping design of this is very simple but clever. It makes it far easier to see the reading as with our old ones you had to balance the letter or parcel on and have to try and look under it to see what it weighed! I don't know why they aren't all designed like this one!The only fault I could pick with it is that it only weighs in metric and not imperial and although mostly that is all you need there can be occasions where that might be useful.Overall though I would definitely recommend these scales.

Very useful to have as we had a small plastic scale and it was difficult to guage an accurate reading. useful particularly as Royal Mail have now changed pricing structure again!!

my venerable analogue scales expired and this has more than met my expectations.the sloping tray works very well.
