As anyone who read my review of the last bike helmet I purchased back in 2011 will know I don’t tend to suit bike helmets. However, I am still facing the same quandary today that I faced all those years ago - I like riding a bike and I don’t fancy dying.Anyway the ex-girlfriend was really pleased with my previous bike helmet as when I wore one it prevented any unwanted female attention – other than the odd concerned citizen asking if I had lost my carer and if I needed any help getting back to the home.But as is probably clear from the pre-fix ‘ex’ that girl is no longer important to me and now it is all about my wife. I bought this helmet as my old one was ready for the scrapers. Seen this and though it was cheap I checked the reviews and looked into the product and bought it based on previous reviews, design, brand etc. My first outing in the helmet I came off on a downhill section and tumbled and failed quite (hilariously) and badly. My head bounced off a rock as a direct hit, not a glancing blow. DID NOT feel a thing and where I was if I didn't have a helmet on I would have been in serious trouble due to no access for ambulances and where I hit. Best value for money and I can't praise it enough, especially for the price.

Comfy enough but bulkier than it looks in the pictures and feels heavier than the weight suggests, not an all day helmet.On the upside it does feel quite solid and the harder outer shell should brush off minor scuffs well enough.I make no comment at all on the efficacy of helmets as a safety device and I note that this is tested to the generally considered lesser EN level rather than SNELL rated, so if you do buy this, do not automatically assume the harder shell and heavy weight implies a greater level of protection than other polystyrene headwear.

I have been looking for a helmet that comes lower on my head than the conventional bike helmet for ages now!! I got this one and got the coverage I wanted! The LED on the back is discreet until turned on, in which case you become very visible! Giving more coverage it is obviously slightly warmer than the usual helmet but the vents (covered by light mesh at the front to stop flies getting in) certainly do their job keeping you cool. The front peak has come off my helmet after just 3 rides but snaps in again easily.

I found this helmet to be great value for the price. If your on a budget but don’t want to totally compromise on quality then this is a good choice.Weight wise I couldn’t really give a good review as my previous helmet weighed a tonne but I will say it does feel comfortable on the head and is very easily adjusted.The added light at the rear adds another pro to this helmet.Overall the helmet is sturdy, of good quality, light weight and doesn’t cost a fortune.

Comfortable and sturdy it really feels safe. The only downside for me was the adjustment dial catches on the padded hood collar of my work coat, sometimes loosening the dial a bit. I would still highly recommend this product though, also having a flashing red led light in it is great. The seller was ultra fast in sending this too.

On the whole I’m pleased with the helmet. It doesn’t look ridiculous on, and l love the Matt black colour. The rear LED is a great addition too. My only complaint is that the little wheel at the back to adjust the tightness catches on my coat collar and loosens itself.

I find the helmet to be excellent. Very comfy, very light, looks miles better on than my previous helmets. It sits lower. I did find it cheaper elsewhere though £30 for the black version from decathlon. Don't be put off by bad reviews, its good.

I wanted an helmet that covered more than standard bike helmet did this one does the job great the amout of padding seems thicker than standard helmet there's not much inside my head but I value it greatly l'm well pleased with this helmet

Mostly I'm very happy with the helmet. There is one little thing that could be addressed. The wheel that tightens/loosens the fitting catches on coat collars in winter, when they are fully done up. A little clip on guard would stop this.

I'm very happy with this helmet. It's light and bright. The light on the back has adjustable settings. While I chose green, I had to do so because the more girly colours weren't available in my size (large).

I really love this helmet. It's lightweight, way cuter than other styles, and has a light on the back that blinks in 3 different ways. The light is esay to use if you're wearing mittens in the winter.

Have had it for a few months now and it's very comfortable. I mount a camera on the front too and with that it still feels light.It feel very sturdy and handy having a built in rear light.

Very good design, comfortable and fits over the temples unlike the perch-on-the-top type helmets. Looks stylish too, and is very well made for the reasonable price. Highly recommended.

This is a really well made helmet. It is not light weight (something that does not bother me) but It is well ventilated and comfortable.I'm very pleased with it.
