Reasonable compromise between strength and portability. 1100mm is probably the minimum length one needs for cycle-locking.The square section links appear to be very strong indeed, much better than the average padlock. Beware - the internal link-size is restricted, around 9mm. If you already have a big, heavy lock then it's not going to fit! Either you'll need a smaller padlock or a different big heavy chain.

This chain seems nice and strong. No, I don't have a motorbike - nice idea but my Dad would never let me! I use this for one of the field gates to help keep the horses safe. Fingers crossed.N.B. Because it goes round the "hinged" end and I don't have to remove it, it has been BOLTED on and therefore doesn't need a padlock.

This is a strong, ultra-flexible chain, that while will be mostly used for bikes, could have a host of other uses. A first-rate product.

This appears to be very good quality, heavy duty chain on first impression. I haven't given 5 stars as I haven't used it yet

Only managed to keep this for a few weeks before someone cut through it and stole my bike!
