I purchased these fins elsewhere because Amazon didn't have them in my size at the time. I also want to correct the product description here by quoting from the accompanying packaging: Zoggs Ultra Blue fins are made from "sustainable natural rubber", not silicone, and much the better for that.Fit is the most important criterion in fin selection to guarantee comfort and efficiency in use. Although these fins fitted my broad feet and high arches very well, my toes protruded overmuch through the toe opening, so I suggest foot pocket lengths should be extended in future to accommodate the entire foot.Sizing information can be found on the soles, given using European, UK and US systems. The German Standard DIN7876-A, which is endorsed by Malaysia's own Standard MS974, also recommends providing the internal dimensions of fin foot pockets in millimetres, which would be really useful when ordering online. You can also find out on the soles when the fins were manufactured, in my case the second quarter of 2013. It would also be useful to know which manufacturing plant in Malaysia made the fins.An important criterion in my purchase was the material from which the fins were made. Unlike all those over-hyped synthetic elastomers, natural rubber is not only a green, renewable resource but also a traditional material perfectly suited to swim fin manufacture. The internal surfaces are soft, smooth and flexible for complete foot comfort, while the short blade has the right level of stiffness for workouts. Perhaps the relative durometer readings for pocket and blade might be provided for the discerning customer. Now a comment on the packaging. These fins do not come in a conventional plastic bag, but attached to stiff cardboard with feature lists and multilingual care instructions. This certainly accords with green priorities, although a plastic bag would have been useful for carrying the fins around.

Having been on the lookout for some swim training fins for triathlon training, we were pleased to be offered these, if a little baffled to see that the review pair came in only one size (adult 9-10). Despite the feet for which they were intended being only a ladies size 6, they do actually seem to fit fine and don't fall off, rub or pinch. They are easy to get on and off (possibly as a consequence of their 'generous' sizing?). The blade splay is quite wide and thus I do find that the inside edges of the blades catch each other now and then but this could be a consequence of them being larger than the size they should be plus being used by a woman with narrow hips. They provide great power/propulsion so help with perfecting kick which is what i use them for.On the negatives side, I do find them awkward to carry. I use the elastic that attached them to the cardboard to keep them together and yes the packaging is minimal and green but a drawstring bag would have been handy. I rinse them off every time and there has been no deterioration in the rubber yet.Great training aid, recommended.

I bought these to remind myself to use my legs when doing front crawl or back stroke and as a general leg strengthening training method. The rubber is soft around the foot and after a few weeks of use, has not rubbed my feet at all. I do suffer from cramp in my feet when swimming and these don't allow any prolonged training in them but I'll persevere. I also found that my speed isn't great doing front crawl legs alone, but I'm guessing that's a technique issue. I can remember swimming at great speed with a pair of flippers as a kid and hoped to recapture that sensation. Technique aside, the Zoggs Finz are well made, fit into a sports bad nicely, don't rub your feet and will make your calfs ache with exertion.Well recommended. They arrived quickly too.

Beautifully made, these fins will help you to power through the water whether you are training or just having fun swimming. As for fit and comfort - I have wide feet and a high instep - and I found them a struggle to get on, plus my toes stuck out a little at the front. I am normally a size 7 and got a 6/7 - but I think the 7/8 would have been a better fit. So I would certainly recommend them as being very good quality and great for both training and swimming - just be sure you get the right size for both width and length. Recommended.

These nice fins are made with 2 types of plastic, the one around the foot is soft and comfortable and the tips are made of stronger plastic to allow for a rigid blade and good propulsion in the water. The feel very nice around the ankle joint and after a 10 minutes session did not cause any problems.I feel there were easy to get in and out and look good too. There are everything I can ask for a pair of swimming fins. Please note that the fins are not intended for open water use just as a swimming aid for swimmers and tri-athletes.

Overall these do exactly what they are meant to do, and do it well.ProsVery comfortable - I am a size 9 and the 9-10 fit perfectlyThe rubber is softer than the Zoggs Silicone Blue Finz i have. Less chaffing across the toes where they stick outThe splay at the front is shaped differently - I'm not sure of the theory to this, but it seems to work a slightly different set of lower leg muscles than the other ones. Dont know if this is good or not - but I can certainly feel it!ConsCan't think of any. Very happy with these.

Great fit. Ordered for my son for Swim Club (They were the recommended Finz on his kit list). We ordered x1 size up from his normal shoe size as Finns are normally snug fit, and he does tend to have a wider fitting shoe so I went bigger hoping these would be easy to put on in the water. He hasn't had any problem with them coming off, or being too loose. Hope they last a couple of terms before he grows out of them. Would def order these again.

I'm a shoe size 5-6. Went for size 6-7 in these as thought they will be more comfortable and easier to get on/off if not too tight. They were the perfect size.I love them! I bought these when pregnant to help with swimming as due to pelvis issues I am unable to do breastroke legs.... These fins have made swimming so fun and I zoom along and no longer hold everyone up in the lane.Ps they are also quite light so easy to carry

I chose the 6/7 size as I already have 7/8 which are too large, but 6/7 are too small and my feet would protrude too far out. It's very difficult to swim in flippers which are at least 1cm too big. But the small ones might cause chaffing. However apart from sizing issues, these are fantastic quality and I would recommend them without hesitation. Perhaps purchase a couple of sizes and retain the ones which are a better fit.

Best fins I have ever owned. Fit is excellent (I take a size 9 shoe, the 9/10 sizing fits perfectly) with a nice wide forefoot zone, no chafing at all.The grey rubber area is nicely flexible for ease of on/off operations. The blue front fin area is not too big so doesn't overwork the ankles. All in all, very nicely constructed and balanced for the serious swimmer and occasional trainer alike.

I take a size 10 shoe and the size 9/10 is fine. Due to Amazon sending the wrong size I was able to try to get my foot into the 7/8. This was possible - obviously too tight for sustained use but gives some idea as to how flexible they are. I have only used them twice and they do increase the effort required to swim crawl very effectively. I had to lower my leg 'cadence' to use effectively.

I'm a UK 7.5 and my shoes can be between a UK 7-8 or an EU41-42 and so these fit perfectly. The grey rubber part of the fin grips the foot in place and then the firmer blue part powers the kick while swimming. They are like having turbo-charged legs!Use as a training aid, preferably under the guidance of a swimming coach.A good price and a quality product.

Needed to buy these Zoggs fins for my son to improve his swimming. They are a great quality product and have maintained their shape / form after 6 months of continual use for his swimming lessons and practice. Make sure you order the correct size, as hoping kids will "grow into them" will result in them coming off! They do fit up quite wide.

These are the second pair i've bought for my son for swimming training. The soft ankle makes them very comfortable and they don't scratch or chaff his feet at all. From the beginning they were comfortable and easy to use. He wore the first pair until his toes stuck out the end and that started to hurt, so the next size up and they're great.

Used muscles in my legs I had forgotten about. Improved my dodgy breast stroke while stopping me from relying on fins to get me through the water. Pleased with them especially at the price. Will make me a better swimmer and have some fun at the same time trying various techniques in the water.
