I bought this for a friend's toddler who was about 14-months. The wooden blocks come in four shapes (circle, rectangle, triangle and square) and are painted in four bright colours (paint used is child-safe). They are a nice chunky size so he can grip / hold them easily. The board and blocks are of a sturdy good quality while the shaped-slots on the board are deep enough to hold the wooden blocks steadily in place should you want to shift the whole unit. He can also play with the blocks by itself (e.g. stacking them up to build a tower etc). Overall, a simple but good quality product with educational value (e.g. recognise different colours, sizes & shapes and develops manual dexterity.)

An excellent educational toy with exceptional build quality and will last a lifetime of heavy use. Can entertain my little girl (15 months) for hours, stacking, sorting into colours/shapes and even the whole process of putting away and out again has become a game.Well worth the money.Although the one thing that lets it down is the poor contrast between the red and orange coloured blocks. I would prefer to see them in blue but this is a minor quibble.
