The carbon fiber look on the top of the head looks great. It looks like carbon fiber is under smoked glass or something to that effect.I hit more shots straight with this club right off the bat. I don't believe I got much more distance than I did with my older Taylor Made driver but I was hitting them straight more often. I have a bit of a slice and I even did with this club at times but some of my shots were straight down the middle. I am hoping that with more practice I can do even better. I feel like I can get a bit more distance at least with more practice.The grip is Lamkin and is pretty nice. It has been a while since I had Wilson clubs. I think Wilson stepped their game up quite a bit on their clubs years ago.

If you are looking to get a lighter driver this is the one to get. It really does make a difference in club head speed having a lighter club. This Wilson club sounds good and solid when hitting the ball also. Other drivers can sound a little tinny but this sounds nice and solid. I have a Taylormade that costs about twice as much as this and I hit this driver just as far as the Taylormade but the Wilson is actually easier for me to swing since it's lighter. Which actually is easier on my back too. Just remember to get the right shaft flex for your swing. I'm not a pga tour golfer so the regular flex and 10.5 degree is perfect for me. A great value at this price.

Wilson has done an amazing job with these D7 clubs. Not only do you get superior engineering in the driver head with some massive power built in, but you have an all-around comfortable grip and shaft for a smooth swing. This driver should be a standard on the links. Not only will amateurs benefit from the forgiving technology built into the head, but even pros will appreciate the powerful design and reasonable price point.The look is basic overall, though I could do without the action decals along the shaft. The driver comes with a nifty black and blue pleather cover that'll do the trick in protecting the driver.

First a disclaimer...I have a terrible golf game. I hate to admit it but I'm bad. That means every little bit helps. This is nice and light yet solid - no, it won't work miracles nor even make me into a mediocre player but like a mentor once told me, go with quality and work your way into it...that is the goal at lest. Comfortable fit, good size for women.

I am by no means a skilled golfer, but I do have a starter set. This driver is exponentially better than my starter Callaway. The club is super lightweight but has great control. I increased my distance by at least 50 yards and didn’t increase my strength of swing. Pricey driver, but as a beginner, this club actually makes a huge difference.
