So much going on its fantastic!Princess Poppy and Prince Louie are the centre of this wonderful castle that ignites magic, colors and motor skills in kids and gets them involved in imaginative play.On the second floor both characters can stand on a point. One of them is a magic point. Depending which character you put on there, they will either sing about who they are, where they're from what they wear or play a wonderful tune. Whilst either of them are singing or playing, the whole castle illuminates in different sequences, with such magical colours its magnificent.You have two different sound levels to choose from.Each button is coloured,numbered and has a different instrument on it.You have three switches to choose from.First: Learn and Play (magnifier)This teaches colours, numbers and instruments. Each button lights up depending on which one is being taught and each instrument plays a short sound.Second: Instrument fun (flute)This teaches you what each instrument is and plays a wonderful melody, depending on which instrument you change it to, the melody continues but changes to which instrument it's being played on.Thirdly: Let's play some music (musical note)Each button says la la la in different singing tones.If you press the heart button during any of the three above it will change the castle to the magic point and start playing the character who is on there.The castle lights up during all of the above in many different places and many different colours.The outside of the castle is adorable. The lowest level being the base of the castle, has beautiful blue doors with a heart shaped gap for a handle. Wonderfully designed and decorated windows and pillars.The second floor, at the base has all the buttons. Then the magic point is centered where both can stand held in place. Either side is a beautiful staircase that lights up. One stairscase has a balcony above and the other has beautiful heart cladden spire. (The batteries go under the staircase with the spire above. Pull the stairs to the side and you will see where to unscrew. Very easily done. Very well hidden so as not to interfere with the design.) Each staircase can hold in place any character.The top level consists of three princess towers with beautiful arched windows that go seamlessly higher into a darker pink tip with more windows, finished with gold heart shaped roofs with flags on them.On the centre tower, an adorable, changeable clock holds two ringing bells creating an almost wedding arch at the centre of the castle. The bells truly make noise!The inside of the castle is very cutely detailed.On the centre of the base, behind the blue doors is a turning circle, which holds in place two characters.Comes with a bed, a vanity mirror, a cat and of course Priness Poppy and Prince Louie.At the top of the castle is a reading area for the prince and princess. In one room there is a beautiful chandelier.Lots of rugs and books, windows and doors. Plenty going on in each level, so much detail!The assembling was ok, needs a good hard clip into place. I thought this was better to save on packaging if you assembled yourself so I liked this, also let's admit, it's fun!After you have assembled you will find all the stickers and their places for them in the instruction book provided. These are stunning and really finish off the castle beautifully.I would definitely recommend absolutely hours of fun here. The kids 5, 3 and 1.5 absolutely love this and all toys this style.They're very well made and durable. The castle has immense detail. Comes with fun accessories. Illuminates magically. The kids love it.Comes with batteries needed (takes 2 AAA)

We bought a Vtech item for our daughter in the 1990s – forgotten what it was, but she loved it. It’s good to see it’s still a quality brand.The castle is very easy to assemble. It takes up a fair amount of room, but it is worth it, because any child will love it, and it’s not the sort of toy children get tired of quickly.It is very colourful, mostly pink but with touches of blue and purple too.You get three characters who live in the castle: Prince Louis, Princess Poppy and their cat; the cat has a rather fetching crown on its head and a bow and collar round its neck, making it look suitably regal. The staircase lights up, and the castle has loads of detail - flags, clocks, turrets, balconies,etc.There are a lot of events inside the castle which will keep your child happy for hours. There is a magic spot where you place a character to trigger many different sayings, lights and much more. You get more things happening if you turn the hands of the clock or the pages of the book. There is also a kind of keyboard on the front which your child can press to get different sounds according to the colour pressed. All of this is both fun and good for developing fine motor skills and colour recognition.You get so much to play with that your child should never get tired of it; even I enjoy playing with it with my grandchildren, so it must be good. and so much more.It needs two AA batteries (one pair included), but even when they run out it is still a great toy. Incredible value at the current Amazon price of £32.

This toy is absolutely stunning! My 14 month old loves it. Easy to assemble, sturdy and easy to play with. The doors are easily pulled off, which my daughter finds very amusing. Plays sounds, songs, teaches instruments, numbers and colours. Interactive smart points allow characters to become interactive. They sing, count and teach. Other toot toot friends are also compatible if they have a smart point. You can collect a whole kingdom!

This is such an amazing toy. Firstly it’s big and I mean big, much larger than even the picture gives us the impression it is. So buyers need to consider how and where store.Once children start to play with this there is so much. Their imagination can run away. A prince and princess are the central figures. There is lights, music and more. Well made, robust and strong. A long lasting toy.

The castle is beautiful, it's good ... it has audio / interactive buttons that entertain the child ...The details are for children's tastes ...And it is even bigger than it looks in the picture ... I gave it to a family that has economic problems .... And its children have few toys ... They love this ?

Excellent gift for a small child. Lights, colours and sounds. Lots to imagine when playing with this. Comes with a few accessories, but you can always add your own for play time. Encourages imaginative role play and keeps child entertained for a while. Well worth the money. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this last week as gift for my 2 year old granddaughter who enjoys everything toot toot and is very much into princesses at the moment so it's perfect for her. I know she will have hours of fun. As always well made and it arrived within a day of ordering.

Easy to assemble and parts arent to small to risk much of a choking hazard but still shoud be vigilant when playing with. There is also a frozen style we always got and they both are great for the kids to play with and good for money.

Two year old niece loved this.Plays lots of tunes and is nice and colourful. The castle is sturdy and of great design quality.Excellent price.Would make an ideal present.
