When you buy a Swiss Army Knife, you should realise that having the matching pouch is more important than it seems. Despite protecting the knife from scratches and getting chipped ( if you drop it when not actually using it )there is also the matter of dust and fluff. I have used various Swiss Army knives for many years and apart from cleaning the tool/blade used on the job, I have never had to lubricate or clean the main body of the knife.They seem expensive at first sight, but will definitely justify your purchase over the years - I have a number of Swiss Army Knives ( some more than 20 years old) and I am a user not a collector and they all still look like new because of the pouches.

You can always trust Victorinox quality, a brand to believe in and when their red leather pouch is made from premium tanned buffalo hide, you know you are definitely getting what you pay for.The red leather pouch is for SAKs with 5 to 8 layers. Its fastening is a button emblazoned with the Swiss cross. When closing it clicks well when pressed or when pulled open. At the back of the pouch are well defined slots to attach to a belt.The pouch looks simply wonderful, a 5 Star product for a pedigree going back decades.

It’s so nice not to have another black case. I love the red and it goes great with my red Swiss Army Knife! The case or sheath is very well made. The only shame is that it’s only for belts there’s no clip to hang it off a pocket or bag. Other than that it’s great. It fits my Swiss Army champ Knife snuggly. It might stretch a bit but not much because the sides are leather as well.

I was chosed bigger size (5-8 layer) and it's perfect size for Victorinox Swiss Champion. The only what I disapointed it is the size of the frame is much wider than knife (but there is no free spase inside).

Nicely made, and a lovely thing to keep you penknife in, but in practical everyday use, it makes for a very bulky lump in your pocket, so have resorted to keeping spare penknife in it!

So pleased exactly as described and fits my Swiss Champ perfectly. It is strong and good quality and the popper fastening it excellent.
