I'm doing an old road bike up to carry on using it for work so I don't puncture my good bike to death and smash the carbon fibre rims biking through the local pot-holed industrial estate.Needed some new handlebar grips and liked the look of these ones.Delivered nicely boxed with fitting instructions on the back of the box. These are 135mm long and supplied with black plastic press in tube ends. They're really well made and are very comfortable indeed whilst riding. Brilliant, love em! But OMG I nearly bust a gut trying to get the buggers on! Tight isn't the word. I felt like I'd been ten rounds with Mike Tyson by the time they were fully on.I must be getting old :(The instructions say spray the inside of the grips with glue/adhesive before fitting - don't! Just try them first, trust me. I defy anybody to pull mine off they're like the sword in the stone, they ain't coming off, ever!Really well made, comfortable bike grips which I can highly recommend.

Bought as I have updated my old straight bar MTB with hybrid risers to use for the daily commute, I did not want to spend lots of money on the refurb as the bike has done a few miles and I did not want to end up spending more than a new bike on parts.I don't intend to wear bike gloves every time I ride so wanted a pair of comfy grips for bare hands.Fitted on the bar without a problem, they look and feel fine. This is the first time I have tried this style of ergonomically shaped grip, the design has a flared form towards the ends that seem to fit the palm. Different from what I have been used to in the past but so far no complaints.I don't have any type of suspension on the bike but the grips seem to take some of the shock out of the bars. Not sure how people with smaller hands would find them, the grips are not huge but they are a good handful, especially when keeping fingers on the brake levers. That said, they are fine for my longish digits.

this is Ok if you want a good value (£6.90), comfort and quality ergo grips. But i much prefer this if this is made Closed-ended (no plastic end caps) on the other end.because sometimes each plastic end cap loosens because of vibrations which in time itmight fell off and lose living the grips and the handle bar see-through and not good looking.*i don't use Locking grips because i usually Cut /shorten the long handlebar of my MTB/s. andfor Locking grips you cannot do this (cutting) because of its Inner layer that is Hard plastic! and NOshorter lock on grips available to fit my brake and speed shifters together on a Shortened handlebar.

I fitted these grips to replace the worn out ones supplied with my bike. They are very comfortable and help to relieve stress on the wrist, which is a big plus for me as I suffer from arthritis. They also made me feel more in control of the bike. I would recommend them as a serious upgrade to normal grips.I would have given these nicely designed grips five stars but found that you have to tighten the allen screws that hold them on very firmly to avoid them turning on the handlebars - I think these screws could possibly be bigger.

These are excellent quality and would not be out of place on a £400 bicycle. The grey rubber bit is slightly softer than the black bit, and fits perfectly in the hand. The shape helps spread the weight across the hand and removes pain you might get on the palm. I bought the odd pair (one is normal width, the other short) for just over 2 quid. But if you buy a pair of normal width they cost 9 quid. So its cheaper to buy a two odd pairs (and throway the two short ones) than one pair of normal!

An excellent leisure or commuting grip, probably not for the racers as it's too soft and 'grippy'. (Excuse the pun). Easily fitted using a bit of hairspray as lube. This sets after a little while, keeping the grip in place. I personally would advise against using spray contact adhesive as stated in the directions on the packaging. If you use this you will have to cut them off. The grip is open at the outer end which means you don't have to cut them to fit bar-ends.

These are great very comfortable to hold, much better than standard grips which I always find too thin. Other reviews said they were difficult to fit, I don't know where I heard it, somewhere in the distant past. I remember someone telling me to use hairspray, I so I sprayed some in the grip and the handlebar they slipped on very easily I adjusted them and after a couple of minutes they were firmly in place.

These grips have the right level of softness/shock absorb-ability and are designed for the shape of the hand/palm; they are excellent. They are not quite as hard to push onto my handlebars as another reviewer suggested but this may be due to my specific handlebars. I had no particular problem fitting the grips but it did take a bit of elbow grease. I definitely recommend these grips for the price paid.

Decent pair of handlebar grips suitable for a commuter bicycle with a twist shifter for hub gears on the right hand side (hence the right grip shorter than the left one).Reasonable value for price paid. My only problem was the inside ring spring was latched into the hexnut thread instead of appropriate catch hand to be painstakingly re-adjusted. Hence the 4 instead of 5 star rating.

Arrived on time and in good condition. Chosen for ergonomic shape and easily fitted if you smear inside lightly with engine oil to help it slip on to handlebar. Might have preferred a black or grey outline instead of white but that's just a quibble really and didn't stop me from opting for it. Have aching wrists so this helps a lot on a ride.

Much Much better than the standard grips that were fitted to my new bike. They gave me blisters. These very comfy I decided to glue them onto the bars for added security having had other types of grips come loose (rotated on the bars) not a good thing to happen on the muck

good but not great. better than the stock grips on my cheap mountain bike. ive seen these ones on a few bikes also. definitely worth a look. really can make the difference if you dislike your current grips. if your current ones arent bad then maybe pass.

The end cap things don't stay in very well. I lost one of them after a month. But they otherwise the grip feel very nice. They were tough to get on, I sprayed aerosol all over the handles for the second one I was putting on and it went on much easier.

Nice looking grips that hopefully will do all that I expect of them. I went by the other reviews for these, but as yet I have not tried them out, though they have been fitted. Fitting was very easy and I had no problem getting them on and positioning.

Replaced what were some pretty horrible grips that came as standard on a Claude Butler mountain bike, and no aching wrists after a long spell in the saddle. Very ergonomic, and good shock absorption. At that price absolutely worth it.
