I had another pump before but it stopped working. The problem was the needle went directly into the thread on the pump and the thread was plastic. This meant over time the thread wore down and the needle doesn't stay in. This pump covers this issue with a metal thread for the needle and plus the needle can go in the bendy adapter. This pump seems quite a bit harder to pump than others but it also seems to do it quicker. Very happy with this purchase, which I bought it in the first place. I removed a star though as the needle is a a lot thicker than my other one and hence more difficult to enter the ball. Some people may not be aware,

I purchased this product for the sole reason that I had a flat football, and I had lost the needle for my old (very, very cheap) pump. This is an effective product, that appears to put a lot of air into the football with few pumps. There isn't really much more one can say about a pump - however it does the job, and is a brilliant purchase given the really low price.

Bought for the many flat balls in the garden.I have been struggling for years to use an old pump that took forever to get anywhere near a full ball, hence why the garden was litted with flat ones.This pump is amazing and does it so easy and quickly. I've even pumped up new balls that arrived flat with so much ease.Definitely recommend.

I'm pleased that there were some instructions as I had never pumped a ball before, which was to soak the end of the needle in water to make it easier to put into the ball and then pump. The needle is already attached to the cord and just a case of screwing on and pumping up. It was suitable for the 8 inch ball which I bought for my dog

The pump is good, the reason I've given it 5 stars is primarily because I cannot fault is as of yet. I used it to pump up my american football and it work perfectly, although because the needle is quite big (thick), it was hard to work with my basketball. Although it's not a problem with the pump, I just need to get a smaller needle

Bought this product to pump up a basketball, works exactly as intended. Comes with flexible braided extension for the needle which makes using it just that bit easier.My only complaint would be is that the needle is quite thick so make sure you moisten the needle before use. The needle thread diameter is about 6mm.

I switched to this pump from one of the cheaper ones here from Amazon, which broke quickly. This one is more built to last, and I wish I had bought this immediately. Its sturdy and high quality, the needle tube is very flexible which helps with positioning, and the pump force is excellent. Can recommend.

Was worried so many dodge items nowadays. Bought a good basketball for me and my son(14) , it came flat. Looking for the pump and found this. Easy to insert the needle into hole and working fine. VERY HAPPY. Sneakily we are going to the park to play early tomorrow morning due to social distancing :))

Got this for my volleyball ball. Comes in a handy bag, so you don't lose the attachment. It's really easy to assemble and super easy to use. It's also compact, so won't take too much space in your bag. Pumped the ball in 30 sec with no issues whatsoever. Really good value for money

I know it's probably seems that all pumps are the same but after borrowing a neighbours pump which took in the region of 50 pumps to pump a basket ball up compared to this one which took about 10 to 15.If you want a good pump, buy this one. Simple as that

Does the job perfectly. Used to inflate baskeball. Can't complain. And whilst we are at it, Amazon, why do you have to use x amount of words for a review?? I just want to say the item is great; not write a bloody ode to it! It's so annoying!

The pump works fine, but the additional inflator needles I bought at the same time (Mitre suitable) are of a different thread pitch and diameter. Not compatible. Just a note to be aware that Uhlsport seem to have a differing design.

What is there to say about this ball pump?I could wax lyrical all day about it's ability to pump up various balls but all you really need to know is that yes it's a pump and yes it pumps things up to the expected PSI.

We have got through loads of pumps where the needle screws direct into the pump and then snaps as you try to use it so the flexible hose supplied with this one combined with the good quality makes it a very good buy

I wasn't sure about this order and there are so many similar items online and couldn't tell the difference. It arrived on time, well packaged and easy to use. The pin looks a bit big but fitted in perfectly.
