I just installed this rack and I can already tell it is going to be the best rack ever. It shifts the panniers down several inches and to the back compared to the stock rack that came with my bike. It also moves it closer to the bike frame and at a slight angle, holding my Ortliebs very securely. The instructions are the worst I've ever seen but I got by without them,The instructions have a big "preliminary version" watermark across the page. They say things like (verbatim) "Attention: black self-locking nut by elliptic clinch" and "...the lower parts of the carrier must not pressed together up to no more than..."The installation was pretty basic, so you can probably do without the instructions.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this one for my LHT. The rack is light but sturdy. Fits my panniers and I don't hit my heels, which happened on an old Raleigh. I knocked a star off because they didn't include all the nuts and bolts. It's so annoying when that happens. Anyway, it was easy to install once I had all the pieces.

Fantastic rear rack. Installation was super easy, comes with extra mounting hardware for all kinds of different mounting possibilities. Panniers sit lower for better handling, and it is really nice looking as well. Rear light mounts nicely on the rear bracket.

When I tour, I carry heavy loads. This rack is very strong and will have no problems with whatever I load on it. Easy to mount to my bike (a Surly Disc Trucker). Delivery was quick. I highly recommend this rack

Easy installation, very stout- my first use was a grocery run. Had at least 50 lbs. and handled it easily. Great fit and finish.

An elegant bike rack that would have been easier to install if the two tools that were supposed to come with it were included.
