So I've read some reviews about how the pole was not extendable or does not collapse (looking for extendable) however still bought it as the picture shows that it does. When it arrived it was exactly what was advertised. (See picture) the pole itself looks very good however in the connecting bit in the middle som glue was visible which I did not expect but not a really big deal for me. Moreover, The pole is clear which i I really like so it's not too distracting and the grip is very good It feels like it would never fall out of your hands. The box also contained a holder for the gopro remote which you can clip into the pole,

What a brilliant little gadget!I bought a black edition gopro before my diving trip to the Maldives. I did a bit of research beforehand to decide on the millions of accessories out there. I narrowed down to a pole for it’s mobility for making videos – this did that.I chose the Evo because of it’s clear body, and it definitely has made a huge difference in my videos. To have it clear means less obstruction/ distractions in the video, and the clear pole just disappears under water!The length is super good as it’s just long enough to make a good POV selfie shots, but not too long so it becomes awkward to carry. Yes, I did think it was a bit long for not being compactible, but now I think it’s a good length.

This item came really quick, and was definitely packaged demonstrating maximum protection. It is very light, and the build looks fairly sturdy, and I understand that the pole makes the GoPro float? Have not tested this yet but if this is true then very good!The pole is just the right length if you are using it to vlog or even on water sports (these are my uses!). I will trust this product to hold my GoPro without any problems, and the comfy handle to hold it with is an added bonus!

I spent a lot of time reading reviews on different poles and I think I chose pretty well. The pole does not bend from the weight of the camera and the screws stay tightened so the camera won't move around uncontrollably. The grip is also good and the pole floats with the camera attached. I have not yet witnessed any water getting inside the pole (as some reviews have claimed), though I haven't tried diving very deep.I love using it and I might say it's my favorite GoPro accessory.

A fantastic pole that provides a great support for your gopro and remote!I found the gopoles design to be very robust and durable except the thumb screw which snapped after only 2 days.... I prefer the gopro screws over the gopro ones anyway.I often used the pole with the SP Tripod screw adapter and connect to my own specific tripod, which fits perfectly where the wrist strap is.Great pole, just make sure you wash the sea salt off before you store it

I was trying to decide between this one and the white telescopic version. I was worried that this one might be too long to have in the bag when you're not using it, but it was fine. Strap it to the outside of your pack with bungee cords and it didn't get in the way. Super light weight and strong too, and being transparent made it less intrusive in the footage. Yet to try it diving, but hope that it will be just as good.

Great accessory for my GoPro Hero3+ HD. This pole is the perfect length for filming, the transparency makes you barely notice it. It's stable, looks good and is very comfortable to hold while snowboarding. Very sturdy as well, I snowboard and do quite a lot of off-piste, so me falling over is a common occurrence, yet this thing is still undamaged.Works great in water too; easy to hold while swimming, plus it floats.

Good pole, well made. Down side i have found - probably a little daft but to me the colour looks yellow - i bought it to match the gopole bobber i have which is yellow - its actually green. nothing important i know but would have been nice if they matched!. Also a shame it only stays at 14" & does not go smaller so not exactly compact to put away. But that is not the end of the world & just my hang up!

it is really good, it floats, it is difficult to remove the water inside the tube though, the metal parts get rust if not after being in salt water, I advice disassemble the lace and all metal parts and wash it in sweet water carefully.I voted 5 stars anyway because it have been really useful, it is light, works really well under water, on water, anywhere, perfect distance, perfect size.

If there was one GoPro accessory I would bring anywhere it would be this - it is not only suitable for diving and watersports but can also be used as a robust selfie stick on dry land. The attached strap makes it safe to hold onto your camera no matter what the activity, great for scuba diving as you can get great shots without needing to constantly swim so close to subjects.

Brilliant float for those looking to be in the water a lot. Used this Coasteering i.e jumping into the ocean etc. Floated on its on the with jumping I added security of a orange float attached onto the camera just incase. worth the money

I absolutely love using this! Have used it to put the GoPro in hard to reach places, a steadycam, great for self filming, worms eye view, birds eye view, over the shoulder shots. Very versatile, it's only limits are your imagination!

Does what it says on the tin. A high quality monopod stick for all models of GoPro. Floats and extends which makes it even more useful.Great for stability, selfies or holding a GoPro without getting your hands in shots.Perfect.

Brought my Husband a gopro for his birthday and brought this to go with it it was cheaper than the one on the gopro website!! It is great even gives you move ways to hold the gopro. Would definitely recommend as saves you money!

Great to use in water and when sightseeing with your second half ;-)Tested in Baltic Sea and on the move - both situation it gives you the confidence that the image will not be shaky.
