This climbing frame simply clicks together, it's pretty much all plastic but it is very sturdy and I have had one in the back garden for a few years now and it's still standing. The bright green plastic tubes are hollow and flex slightly if they are under pressure (when older children are climbing on it) but I've never had any concerns over the strength of it, and it often has a few children on at once. The colour has faded only very slightly over the last three years which is very impressive when compared to other garden toys which have been seriously sun bleached. The dismantle tool is basically used to depress the metal pegs which protrude in order to secure the tubes together, dismantling is no easy task however and so I wouldn't recommend it unless you really had to. The climbing frame is surprisingly light and can easily be dragged across the garden (when mowing the grass for example!).My kids have had nearly 4 years out of this, at first they could just about climb a couple of rungs up and then cried for me to lift them down. They don't need daddy now though and they are hanging up-side-down from the top of it within seconds. This isn't just a climbing frame, they spend just as much time underneath it and it becomes a house, a school, or a castle to them.In a nutshell: This isn't massive and so doesn't take up too much room in the garden. My eldest was 2 when I bought this, she's 6 now and still loves it - my little boy isn't even a year old yet but I know that he'll enjoy it when he's old enough and will get many years out of it. This is one of the best garden toys we've ever had, it's brought a lot of enjoyment!

My Grandson who is 3 absolutely loves this and its large enough and strong enough to last him for quite some time. Myself and his mum constructed it ourselves and it was eventful to say the least. My daughter used her high school German to attempt to read the instructions (that was fun) but we then located the English version, which when we printed it was so small we could hardly see it. We made one mistake at the very base which cost us both dearly as we both then ended up with plasters on our fingers trying to dismantle the incorrect bits (good job its plastic, the blood wiped straight off!) If we had not made this mistake all would have run smoothly as the rest went together in no time.My Grandson finished it off himself, helping to put screws in and putting all the caps on by himself. Please look carefully at the pictures of the base (some of the poles need to be longer than others) as the instructions don't make it that obvious and we spent a long time wondering where we had gone wrong and why the next level up didn't fit. Have a few plasters handy though if you novices like us....just in case!

My little boy loves this climbing frame. He is 1m tall and when he hangs off the top bar he is just touching the ground with tippy toes. Its a great way for him to learn to safely ascend, descend and perform acrobatics on climbing frames. With a bigger climbing frame I would have had to monitor him at all times cos he's daft enough to let go! I put this frame together with a little help from my mum in about 1hr. It is very stable and strong but light enough to move out the way for cutting grass. All in all we are v pleased with this purchase.

Very happy with my purchase - I was worried it might not work for my 4 & 2 year old daughters, however they both adore it! A great size, it seems really sturdy & practical. There was a bit more to putting it together than we expected, however that just seemed to have earnt more respect from my hubby in terms of its strength & construction. Reasonable price & efficient delivery all help make this a fantastic purchase, which I'm sure we'll be getting loads of use out of for a long time yet.

got this for my niece and nephew. bit of work putting it together but nothing to difficult. the kids love it. it's plenty strong enough and not high enough for them to get hurt falling off. light enough for them to move about the garden on their own. Would recommend it for homes with small gardens.as a bit of an additional thought, the kids tried covering it with a sheet when it started to snow to see if they could turn it into an igloo. would work great but just not enough snow.

Kids love it - took a little time to build though - with one reading the instructions and one fitting it came together without many arguments. Its quite big so you need the space. My only niggle is the top square area doesn't fit as snuggly as the rest of it so seems loose, but its perfectly strong enough just seems a little wobbly - I guess its a side affect of the mechanism rather than an issue. But the kids love it.

I put this together myself so it can't be difficult to put together! It's very stable, apart from perhaps the monkey bar at the top but am sure it's strong enough for children. I love the possibilities this climbing frame holds for children - it can grow with your child. Also love the fact you can move it around easily and it doesn't kill the grass underneath. Am very pleased with this purchase and so is my 3 year old!

A well conceived idea. Light enough to move easily ( we swap it between inddor and out weather permitting). Be warned it takes time and patience to put together; both me and the old man are degree qualified engineers and it took us over an hour. Follow the instructions to the letter and you'll be fine. Very sturdy once erected. Don't loose the special tool for dissembling, you'll regret it one day.

Purchased for our (just) two year old grandson he is finding it a bit daunting as a climbing frame - he doesn't yet have the confidence to make his way above the first level. However he does love it as a "den" covered in a sheet and full of toys. Currently it is set up in a spare room in the house but with the weather improving I expect him to make fuller use of it when we move it into the garden.

A very well made product, delivered on time and not too hard to assemble. Would be 5 stars but the kids don't really use it that much (3 year old and 5 year old). They have more fun on it when it's covered in a sheet or something and made into a den. That said, very durable and can be left outside year round (doesn't even seem to need cleaning much)

We purchased this for our daughters 5th birthday and she and her friends love it!! They turn it into a little den, do handstands in it (and off it), just love it. Not too big so that they get hurt and not too small it feels "babyish". Very easy to put together, just needs a little thought and a read of the instructions first.

I bought this item 3 years ago at half price. Apart from the trampoline this has been the best and well used garden toy for my 2 and 4 year old up until now 5 and 7. They hang and climb all over it. The top square bit has been taken off now as it broke and they still sometimes just sit on it.Well worth it at half price.

I bought this for my 2 1/2yr old son who is a dedicated climber and he took to it in seconds. He was thrilled when he got to the top. It's already bought hours of fun, and makes a great den when covered with blankets too. It's easy to assemble and light enough to move about the garden. A great buy.

bought this when we went into lockdown to keep my little one busy. Had a slight issue at first as a part was missing but contacted the seller and another part soon arrived.Very easy to build and has already had hours off use. Very easy and light to move around the garden also.

Really pleased with this climbing dome. It's well made and sturdy. It comes with pegs to hold it down, but it doesn't tip without them and we havent needed to peg it down on our slightly sloped lawn. Our 3.5 year old loves it. It makes a good den too with a sheet over the top.
