I have just completed a 3000 mile 35 day trip around the UK with these bags and i cannot under any circumstance recommend them, why you may ask well here goes, first off they can come off the rails when you hit a bumpy road or track I know this because it happened to me, not good, Secondly, they are not water proof, how the water was getting in I never figured out, only place i could think of was around the bolt connections with the hangers, my sleeping bag was soaking quickly learned to pack in a different order so my cooking pot got wet, Thirdly as the previous review mentions the nuts that secure the brackets protrude into the bag,

The problem with this product is the protruding bolts inside the bag. Seven of them stick out inside the bag! This means that it catches anything you want to take in and out of the bag. It is an amazing design blunder. The bag looks good from the outside, but it disappoints overall.
