Okay, so there's no way I'd pay full retail for this helmet. I paid about a third of that and got a mega bargain on Amazon. I can say that I've bought Sweet Protection products before, and always found them to be well designed and quality is high. This is no exception.I wanted a light and well ventilated helmet i could use on split boarding tours and back country days. Also, I wanted to be able to fit a balaclava underneath on really cold days. The fact the helmet has fully adjustable venting and a dial to allow find tuning of the fit makes it a winner.

The Sweet Protection Switcher feels and looks superior in every way to other high end helmets I have used. The venting system is excellent as is the chin strap mechanism. I am very pleased and would also like to say buying through Amazon is as usual a very pleasant, hassle free experience. Highly recommend
