AS part of an e-bike conversion, needed to replace the bottom bracket, hence the need for a bottom bracket tool. Selecting one on line is a bit of pot luck, as there is no way of knowing if it will perform. So based on other reviews I decided to go for this one, and have to say it proved to be a good choice. Removed the existing bottom bracket lock rings no problem (using a large torque wrench) Fitted new bracket and tightened lock rings also no problem. Now in the bottom of tool box, as probably won't be needed again for a couple or more years ... hopefully

Nice tool, seems strong and reliable, and certainly locks on well. Takes both a spanner and a 1/2" square socket wrench.It's solid steel and not a cheap die-cast unit. That was always the question on my mind when ordering.

Used for Shimano un55 square tapered bottom bracket removal.Very nice tool, can use a ratchet or spanner so very versatile. Feels sturdy like it will last a fair while.

Got this for changing the original bottom bracket bearing on my 20 year old bike. Using this tool made the job easy. Good quality and well worth the money.

Great for a non professional and get the job done easily. If you are a pro you probably should take a stronger one.

I struggled for an afternoon trying to release a stubborn BB. This tool griped the now worn edges and did the job!

Solid piece of kit. Undid a really tough BB. Good that you can use a spanner or socket on it as well.
