Superb lightweight helmet, with very flexible venting, so in the spring when all helmets I have had before cook my head, this one does not. Peak is really useful in falling snow as it stops a build up on top of your googles, which then melts and causes fogging. The goggle venting system really works. Only thing to be aware of is that the mips system takes up just over 1cm of volume, so the mips versions run very small, and smith helmets seem to run a little small anyway.My old vantage was non mips, and I take a medium, the dial adjuster at the rear on my old helmet was tightened down quite a way, with my new mips vantage it is nearly as large as it can go, it is only just big enough,

As someone with a very large head and who gets warm easily this helmet was perfect mthe fit system is great and provides a very comfortable fit and you soon forget you are wearing a helmet at all.It is very robust but also lightweight, again making it very easy to wear.It 8s also good for hearing and I had no problem with regular conversation rather than shouting.The handy features like the mask holder are really useful.I also felt a significant difference when closing and opening the head vents.Very happy with the purchase and well worth the money.

This is one of the top rated ski helmets on the market. Loads of features, well made and looks good. I cannot give this 5 stars as the size is too small. If you read the reviews on Smith's own site, lost of people commenting that the sizes are wrong on the MIPS version (which you get sent). These helmets suit a rounder shaped head and you may need to go a size bigger. Hope that helps. Really wish it fit, as its a great product.

Very comfortable helmet worn for entire days skiing with no discomfort the vents in the helmet make it adaptable when it's warmer.
