I recently purchased a Sigma 150-600mm c and was amazed at how sharp it was, unfortunately the lens had a fault and I was given a replacement. While testing the first copy I was waiting for my filter ( a cheap brand import) to arrive so didn't get to put on first lens. When the replacement came the filter went straight on and after testing image quality was disappointed but thought it was down to the lens and not the filter. A friend of mine had the same lens + a cheap filter and had discovered the lens was significantly better without using one. I didn't want to leave lens unprotected and googled the issue for advice.

Once this filter is on i can relax and enjoy my lens, i bought Sigma filter forvmy Sigma lens so they are truly in sync with hopefully corresponding glass treatment technologies, i normally buy HOYA to be honest, but as stated i wanted a true manufactored match for my lens. This filter is big, yet bezel is normal/slim, it feels solid and feels of the highest quality, it screws on perfectly thus sealing away the lens front element. Most importantly too i can say from my own test of shooting several variable images with and without the filter attached it has zero impact on the image!

Tried a cheaper alternative first on my Sigma 150-600 mm C lens and found it degraded the image which came as a surprise but after testing with and without the filter it was clear that the images without the filter were much sharper. My thinking for buying this item was that Sigma would surely not sell a filter for its own lenses that affected the image quality, and sure enough they don't this matches the Lens perfectly and the high image quality of the Lens is maintained, so very happy with this filter it works wonderfully and protects the Lens front element from expensive damage.

I bought this purely to protect the front glass on my sigma sport zoom telephoto lens and it does that ok but when you see what you actually get for £105 I had to shake my head.Now tho I feel like I want to buy a cheaper lens protector to protect this sigma lens protector

I bought this Sigma 95 mm protector to fit on an expensive lens (Nikon 500 PF) and it has been on since new. I have not had any issues with it and have not noticed any effect on image quality. Price seemed reasonable for a quality filter of this size.

Can't complain about the price as it was a freebie when I bought my 150-600 zoom but it does have a seriously thick mount that actually almost prevents the case for the lens from closing. Otherwise does what it should.

I bought this for my sigma 150-600mm lens purely to protect it. To be honest I was astounded at the price, very expensive for a protective filter but I didn't want a cheap filter on such an expensive lens.

Great lens protector. I use to protect my sigma 24-105mm. Would recommend to anyone looking for that protection to your expensive lenses.

Thought it was a bit expensive, but at the end better than a cracked lens. haven't found any issue with the images with it on.
