The new ultra wide range derailleurs have enabled me to do away with my triple chainrings and still have suitable gearing for on the flat and hill climbing. All those years of experience fine tuning front derailleurs now gone to waste! Still, it is quite nice to get back to basics. The XT derailleur is one of the better quality versions on the market.

converted the 3x8 drive line on my specialized sirrus to 1x10, 11-42 and it shifts great! using a standard front 39t sprocket, not a narrow-wide sprocket, and haven't had any dropped chains. great rear mech

All round best derailleur in terms of precise shifting and feel. Paired with an XT shifter and Sunrace 11-46 cassette. XTR is exactly the same spec save for a few grams lighter and a diferent finish.

The Shimano XT M8000 is a great good shifting derailleur that can be fixed on rough terrain. Because of this, it does not chatter from wreath to wreath.

Comes with hanger. Long cage SGS. Don't know what else to say except it's a pretty good price. Comparable to Ali price but with much faster shipping.

My full suspension came with these installed. Had to order one for my hybrid once it was time to upgrade its drive train. love the xt group.

I upgraded to switching to SLX -> XT and it paid off. Installation and adjustment is easy. The gears now operate very precisely and quietly.

I bought the product 1 x10 packet since the 10-speed rear mercury is not really capable of handling the 11-46 backpack. Works well!

XT performance its probably the best bang for your buck, i switched my 3x9 drivetrain for a 1x11. Couldn't be happier.

Quality is great as always. I will buy XT again. I personally don't see the need to jump up to XTR.

Switches smoothly and precisely. Handy that you can fasten it to prevent the flapping of the chain.
