This one comes with bigger cogs or sprockets which ever you wanna call them and they are not made like the one i had before, which is good, They were made of some kind of hard rubber or something,So far i like them and as time goes on i Guess i will see if they stay working well as long as i take care of them, But the part that cable goes through and is connected to the barrel is made of plastic so if you have to index it a lot to get the right setting there is a possibility it will break, like it did to one guy who give his comment. I'm just sayin

Perfect fit for my Halfords Apollo and easy to adjust. Had to look up fitting instructions on the internet. My bike chain didn't have a split link and I didn't want break and relink the chain so I took the derailer apart and then reassemble this in the bike, remembering to put the cogs back in the correct orientation. While I managed to do this it took me 20 min and I would probably recommend splitting and relinking the chain next time.

Seems like a good value. Not top of the line, and yes plastic cogs but I don't think that's uncommon. I installed this on an old Fuji Royale 12 speed and it worked great with the bar end friction shifters. Took about 45 minutes to install new shifter cable, derailleur, and get the upper and lower limit adjusted.

The derailleur does exactly what it says on the tin, very simple to setup. The manual doesn't come with but a link is provided which is actually great for Eco conscious as it saves paper! Brilliant overall

This fit exactly in place of where a similar crash-damaged Shimano derailleur came from. It shifts exactly as it should, and the cable routing works really well with that nifty pulley device it comes with.

This Shimano derailleur is durable and fits my TREK well.It was easy to install and the gears shift nicely!I would recommend this derailleur, as it is what you get as advertised and at a good price.

In my opinion this mechanism is real value for money. There are some nice touches with the cage guide and adjuster that are not on even more expensive rear mechanisms. I would give it 10 out of ten.

I had to get a hanger compatible with the derailleur bolt, but that was simple. I didn’t even need to adjust it. Shifts quietly and perfectly. Used with Shimano shifters and cassette.

not the highest end product so you give up a little weight and ultimate precision but for a mid range bike this works like a dream: nice tight shifting and consistent performance

I have chosen the rear derailleur as a replacement for an age-old Shimano Index 6-speed transmission and it works very well. Of course, also donated a new lever. Setting easily.

Easy to fit and adjust. I would recommend if buying this that you also buy a new cable as well as this makes it very, very simple to install after a quick look at you tube!

Really nice acting shifter; all thumbs. When set up right, gear changes are positive; better than the Shimano Tourney system,

This is a lowend product but good enough for the kids. The sprocket is plastic so I don't expect it to last long

Perfect replacement for a similar that snapped. Easy to replace. And all 6 gears works fine again.
