I love the reel, caught a nice Pollock on my first cast.It casts and retrieves like a dream.My only disappointment is I couldn't buy a second one, because they said we do not ship this product to your location, after I buying it from said location.So I'm lucky I got the first real, not so lucky they wouldn't send me the second one ?So I'll have to shop elsewhere to get another one...

SHIMANO IS A GREAT PRODUCT AND OUR FAMILIES GO TO REEL. WE HAVE NEVER HAD ONE WHERE THE DRAG ADJUSTS FROM THE BOTTOM BUT IT IS SMOOTH AND WE WILL KEEP IT. I WISH THERE WERE MORE SHIMANO PRODUCTS OFFERED TO PRIME CUSTOMERS!

Stradics have been a favorite of mine and many others for years. Great casting/retrieving reel that holds up well. The handle on this is a great change up to the single arm.

Perfect in every way! The best I ever had and I had a few! Got two, 1500 for crappie/trout and 2500 for bass & cats. Love it!!!
