Had one of these on my hybrid's front wheel for some time without issues. My new one replaces the 140mm rotor on a new Giant Defy Advanced Pro 1. Took 30 mins to fit - undid the flat-mount bracket, took off the calliper after removing the small split pin for the bottom bolt, turned the bracket up the other way, refitted the calliper then the whole to the carbon forks to 6N/m. Unscrewed the rotor lock ring from the front hub then replaced the 140mm rotor.Took about 15 miles to bead in - sorted!Although this version lacks the aluminium fins, it's still uses so-called "Ice Tec" due to both the aluminium spider & the aluminium layer between the stainless steel braking surfaces.

Weights a lot less than the lower end rotors, once bedded in you'll have serious stopping power regardless to your brake type and from cold to working is practically instant so bye bye squeaky days, on resin pads which im using these work brilliant for me in all weathers, in cold heavy rain conditions i get a minor squeak till they hit temperature "less than 3 secs" then they run silent but i believe this is normal. Definitely better than lower end rotors which howl the hole way, judging off the same pads bike etc. these are a step or two up from stock. ?

Probably a bit expensive but is lighter than disc I replaced and don’t have any adapter issues to convert from 6bt to cl.
