Same damage as mentioned here. After a break of 280km, drive uphill. Thank God not downhill .. Here it would definitely have led to a fall. Tortzdem stupid to have to cycle home on the axis. Had actually expected a more solid product from Shimano, especially at almost 500 gr per pedal!

Pedals dropped off after almost half a year, due to bearing damage. Very annoying for the price! The bearing is pressed into the pedals and can not be replaced.

The bearing is also interchangeable with a threaded cage attached
