Sealskinz All Weather Cycling GlovesSo far these gloves have performed extremely well. I have worn a few different gloves and after some research decided on these. First it should be noted that any gloves that keep your hands warm, will also make them sweat, and the gloves will get wet from the inside, especially when cycling if you are putting in any amount of effort.. As far as water proofness goes, I have worn these glove in torrential down pours of up to an hour, and my hands have been no wetter than if there had been no rain at all. I do however make sure my rain jacket covers the cuff of the glove so no rain water can enter that way. These gloves are not overly warm as the padding is relatively thin, however for me this is a plus when cycling as thick padding soaks up the sweat and takes ages to dry, whilst these I can get dry ready for commuting home after the initial ride to work. Also the lining is stitched in place so does not pull out with your hand. I have ridden with these gloves down to a recent -4 deg on a one hour ride and my hands were fine. The gloves also allow a good grip on the bars due to not being overly padded. Note that to improve warmth of these gloves I do wear and recommend using a liner glove, so order at least one size larger to accommodate this. Liner gloves work great as they give the added warmth, allow your hands to slip in and out of the main glove easily, and can be dried quickly. I also carry a second pair of liner gloves in a back pocket so that I can add a another insulating layer or change the pair I'm wearing if they get too sweaty. I can't make any claims about breath ability of these gloves but I can say most marking hype is just that ie hype. If your gloves get wet due to sweating then the gloves are to thick and you should use a thinner pair to suit the weather on that occasion. I use these gloves below 7 deg and have a lighter pair for when it is warmer. I have recently bought a second pair of these gloves that are high visibility and am very happy with them.

I do lot of outdoor fitness and with the weather getting colder it can be quite tricky to carry out floor exercise.Package Content:1x pair for glovesI was recommended the windproof and breathable gloves by couple of mates who come in the fitness group. I was reluctant to buy such an expensive gloves as none of the range of sealskinz are cheap. There are so many different range of gloves from sealskinz that it can be very confusing which ones to order.I ordered a large size pair of gloves even though according to the measurement chart it was supposed to be a medium. Since I had tried an XL glove before from one of my friend and that was a bit lose so I didn't take chance with the medium sizepair and with the large pair. After I received the gloves I wore it for the first time and it is indeed quite a warm glove. The membrane inside is soft and very warm. The outside layer is slightly soft rubbery. The soft extended glove to the wrist gives a very nice warm feeling to your hand. The velcro provides an additional support without having to think of it coming off your hand during outdoor workout.I haven't tested if the gloves are 100% waterproof only time will tell and I shall update the review.Very pleased with the purchase.I really hope you found my review helpful and would love for you to click on the “YES” button to say so. If you don't think my review has been helpful, before you click on the “NO“ button to say I was unhelpful, I would love you to leave me a comment with your thoughts, so I can try improving my future reviews.

The size chart says that an XL glove will fit a hand circumference of 28cm. I squeezed into the glove and then wrapped the tape around the glove and it still only measured 26cm, round the outside of the glove!Reality check: I do have big pretty hands, with a span of just about 10 inches or 25cm but my hand circumference is 24cm implying that size L would be big enough at 25cm - no way! As it happens, these gloves do actually fit me but it's a very close fit and I have to squash my hand up to get through the wrist. Once it's in it is pretty comfortable and flexible enough to get away with but I think I'm going to feel the cold more because of the tightness. I can't stretch out my span so far either, not that that matters much while riding.I'm making my mind up as I go here - there going to have to go back, in favour of the XXL. These really are 5 star gloves though, just watch out for the sizing......................................................The XXL are perfect. Unfortunately Amazon were only selling the XL at the cheaper price so I got these from High on Bikes and they arrived very quickly.

Great gloves for cycling! They feel comfortable, resist water very well (only tested with a couple rainy days so far, but no issues so far) and help you stand out very well with nice bright colours and reflective strips for those night rides. I've been using these for a couple months now for my commute to and from work. They make me feel much safer in the early/late hours when it gets dark, where before I worried that cars would not be able to see my turn signals (I had some completely black gloves). The touch screen fingertips work pretty well compared to others I've tried, probably the 2nd best I've ever tried. They allow me to control my phone through my handlebar holder well enough, once I'd gotten used to them a little. Swiping is a little more difficult but manageable (they work a bit better straight onto my phone screen though). Overall some great gloves for cycling, would definitely recommend. My one flaw would be that my hands got a little colder than I hoped, only on some of the colder days (sub-zero) though. Most of the time they are perfect temperature.

Honestly these are close to being perfect, but they just fall short. The main glaring issue, is the fact that the inside of the thumb isn't waterproof, let go of those handlebars just once in the rain and the next time your grab them, your hand's getting wet. I understand that this is to make it easier to use your phone with gloves on, but honestly, if the fabric's wet, then it's even harder than if it was a less phone friendly material.Other than that they're nice and warm, and a tight fit (might be a good idea to buy 1 size up). When it comes to the rest of the gloves, they're fantastic at keeping water out (bar absolute tons of rain).

A lot of people said to buy a size larger than your normal size. I would agree with every one of them and for the life of me I cant understand why Sealskinz dont just amend their size chart which is misleading. Definitely buy the size above what the guide tells you. Anyway, they fit perfectly, are very warm, definitely waterproof and actually I'm starting to become a fan of the Sealskinz brand, having recently bought a hiking cap. Will try them out further on various winter bike rides and hopefully they will be robust enough to cope.

I bought these to replace the thinsulate gloves I bought from a garage a few years ago. I wanted something warm, hi vis and waterproof. These are pretty good gloves, and a snug fit, so I was pleased I got XL size instead of L. They do seem waterproof, but would benefit from more insulation especially in the fingertips. The label that comes with them shows a 3 out of 5 rating for thermal performance, which I guess is about right, but if you are using these in cold weather you will need to invest in a pair of glove liners.

These gloves are really good. They run up your wrists so a jacket can fasten over them to ensure you stay dry. And they're warm, I'd say they suit me from about 10 degrees to freezing before a liner glove might be needed. The fit is fairly similar to other gloves. I tend to wear a Large, bought these in an XL just to make sure there was space for a liner when it got real cold. The fingers have space, but the thumbs are fairly snug. So consider buying a size up from what you might usually.

33YEARS CYCLING , I HAVE LOST COUNT THE AMMOUNT OF GLOVES WINTER SUMMER , MITTS ETC I HAVE HAD .These ones , high vis yellow , perfect comfortable fit , waterproof , fastens well , for me I would prefer slightly longer at wrist , thus covering jacket sleeve easier , but dare2b cycle waterproof , has well made sleeves that helps to prevent wind from going up sleeve Would purchase more if different bright colours , as FANTASTIC GLOVES THANKS

Previous reviewers have said that you should buy a pair which is one size (at least) bigger than you measure for. I did this - my hand was 8cm across so I bought a pair for a 9cm hand - and got what was still a fairly snug fit. Apart from this the gloves are very comfortable and seem to expand slightly with use. I recommend you warm them or your hands before going out on a really cold day to remain comfortable for a long time.

Very happy with item. Appears very well made and should be both durable and hold up well under bad weather conditions. However, while the suppliers measurements are accurate the glove cuff is rather narrow. This means that if your hands are rather chunky as mine are, it may be wiser to go up a glove size (especially if you want to wear a lining glove underneath). Once you get them on they are a great fit.

12.2.2018

These gloves are very windproof and feel like they're going to be waterproof as well. They're not especially warm until your fingers warm them from the inside. This may be to do with the fit, which in my case is a little loose on the fingertips.Having said that, once they've warmed up they can get a bit sweaty as they're not very breathable. All in all: well made and suitable for purpose.

These gloves are superb. My hands stayed warm in frosty conditions (between -2 and +2 degrees C) despite having pretty poor circulation and they stayed dry in a torrential downpour.I am glove size 7.5-8 (I'm 6ft tall) and the XL are just right for me. The size guide would suggest I should buy smaller- my hands won't even fit into a M, so buy bigger than the manufacturer would suggest.

Most cycling gloves seem to over promise and under deliver. These are an exception. They are generously sized and the lining doesn't pull out when you take them off. The padding is quite firm and takes the edge of my straight handlebars. They are windproof waterproof and certainly keep the cold out (but probably not in Antartica).Time will tell but they seem very well made.
