Land Cruiser tyres are excellent - I have had a previous set about 18 months and never a puncture. They run smoothly on the road with low rolling resistance and handle mud well too. I have bought a second set for another bike as the tread is still going strong on the first set.The set I just bought seem OK but they are subtly different from the previous ones, which I don't think is clear in either description. This set are all black, whilst the previous set had a reflective band about 6mm wide on the side wall which is great for commuting - the first set were described as "reflex colour" whilst the second set were "black colour".The other difference is the width the first set being 1.9-2.0 inches and the new set being 1.75 inches. Both ads said this but the 1.75 inch ones quite a lot narrower than the 1.9-2.0 inch ones when on the rims.

I've gone through a few different tyres on my Specialized Crosstrail which serves mainly as a commuting bike (routes vary massively from a couple of miles to 25ish). With winter now here my longer commutes are much less likely so I've gone for something less slick than the Kendas I've been running this year (they'll probably go back on in the spring). Having not done much since fitting these I can't give a full review but based on the few stretches of gravelly muddy tracks I've ridden the grip is excellent for most uses. On road they roll really nicely with hardly any drag at all so these tyres are a cracking all rounder. No problems with punctures yet but based on similar standards of puncture protection on other Schwalbe's I've used (one sidewall puncture in thousands of miles riding) I'm expecting excellent service in this respect.

I recently got back into cycling and I do most of mine along the canal towpaths in and around Birmingham. Lots of debris along the towpath but these tyres have been virtually bomb proof. In 14 months I've had one puncture (which was a screw) and I've done lots of miles - I replace my chain every 8/9 months and they're normally good for 2,500 miles at least. What has been most impressive is that even if a thorn goes in it doesn't come out (unless you pull it). I've ridden round for ages with a thorn buried in the tyre - if it happens i just snip around the thorn and leave it in there and carry out the repair at home.More often than not when I do this I find a few other thorns in there but apart from the screw I've not had anything stop me.I'll need to replace the tyres next spring (tread wearing down) but i'll get the same.

Purchased these to replace some pure road tyres that were previously on my mountain bike which were way past their best. I was expecting the Land Cruisers to feel much heavier & slower after the near-slick profile of the old tyres. However, if anything there is less rolling resistance with these - possibly due to the higher pressure rating of 65 psi (as opposed to 40 psi on the old tyres). I've used them for a couple of rides on cold, slimy pot-hold roads and I am very impressed with their ride-quality and grip levels. I only ride on road so I can't comment on their off-road ability.

I've used these every day for four months on an electric bike so that's a lot of weight (probably 105Kg total). Pumped up to 55 they are showing slight signs of cracking at the sides, but that started early and has not changed even after a lot of use. They work well on both dirt tracks and roads and have not had a puncture yet. When you move from dusty tracks to a road, you can see that only the centre line is cleared of dust so they have a very small footprint and therefore a low rolling resistance.

Tyres delivered promptly (ie on first day of provided delivery window), so, off to a good start. Had no problem fitting them to my Giant CTC City bike, did not even need to use tyre levers. Inflated to 50psi, as per instructions. I ride on gravel tracks and tarmac surfaces. Initial impression is very good, much less rolling resistance than my old tyres (or, I have become magically fitter overnight, which I doubt). If puncture resistance is as good as the ride and grip, I will be very happy.

GTECH bike owners be aware of the stock tyres supplied and replace them sooner than later with these far superior Schwalbe land cruisers, I suffered so many punctures with the stock tyres and literally went through two puncture outfits before giving up, I do 20 to 30 miles a day over rough and smooth terrain and since fitting these Schwalbe not a single puncture, both my old stock tyres where reputedly puncture resist and probably where if I left my bike parked up!

I was looking for a do anything tyre, I was a bit sceptical about how cheap they were but being a big fan of schwalbe tyres (use city jets in the summer)I thought I'd give them a shot for my 20 mile daily commute to work. They roll nearly as fast as my city jets but I can now go off road at the weekends without changing to off road tyres, which is a god send. Done about 500 miles on these without a puncture and they still look like new . Fantastic.

I have been looking for a suitable tyre to fit my wife's cross country motorised Da Vinci wheelchair. The old tyres lasted a long time but where not the best when being used on tarmac as they were very noisy. This new tyre is great for both on road and off, which means I now don't need to carry spare wheels for town useWhen they arrive don't be frightened that they have sent you the wrong size as they come folded up. Phew!!

These tyres really are the best I've ever used on my bike. I commute to/from work everyday, 30 minutes each way, the terrain is mainly pavements with a few 'off-road' parts. There's a huge difference in the number of punctures compared to using the non-kevlar tyres. I'd never go back to the old-school rubber tyres without puncture protection. Well worth the money, you'll experience a puncture far less often than normal.

I gave this tyre five stars not only for the price and quality but for the additional grip and stability they provide. I usually ride my hybrid on roads and gravel tracks, the sharp flints littered about have yet to pierce the puncture protection. Although not quite as good as my MTB with "knobblies" fitted, on mud these Land Cuisers make muddy tracks accessible and have certainly made my hybrid a good all-rounder.

I have bought these to replace my Schwable City Jet tyres, only to give me more grip during the winter months. So far, I am very impressed with them. The ride is still very smooth and there doesn't appear to be any extra drag. I feel much more confident riding on our very poor roads, which is no doubt a nation wide problem! I cannot comment on the puncture resistance, other than I haven't had one yet...

I purchased this to replace a pair of hybrid tyres. They have good traction in mud when you stay in the saddle and much reduced rolling resistance when on the tarmac when compared to other similar tires. I have only completed 25 miles of/on road so the puncture resistance aspect is still up for debate, I did get a puncture on this trip but it was a 2" nail so cant really use this to compare.

Appears to be a well built tyre with level 3 puncture protection. I bought this tyre to replace my existing road tyres as I want to use the bike on both road and cycle track. If you are only going to use your bike on road then go for the 'Road Cruiser' version which also has puncture protection. My awarding of 4 stars is purely provisional as I have as yet to put the tyre through its paces.

Tyres arrived within expected delivery window. Tyres are as expected, though the labels look as if they've been re-stapled from a previous product. My one gripe is that, of the two tyres I ordered, one has a reflective strip, but the other does not. They both seem to be similar otherwise, K-guard, 700 x 40C, 35 - 65 PSI (4.5 BAR), so will not return one, but it's an irritation nonetheless.
