Bought these as a christmas gift for my great aunt. She is not an easy person to give gifts; she has a high standard and very picky. If it wouldn't be her, i would not buy this lunch plate set, because of the price. Anyhow upon receiving these, when i opened the well packed parcel i fell in love with the variety of designs. And it tick all the boxes as she enumerated to me that it should be not heavy, not too big and blue. I would def recommend to everyone if you're not in a budget and wanted a good quality.

Maybe a bit too big as a sandwich plate. Nice design. Not the quality of Royal Doulton made in England in years gone by. But will do the job.The review is encouraging me to talk about the thickness of the China as if that was a good thing! The old bone china wasn't thick, it had translucence and was very strong. But I knew what I was buying at purchase so 4 stars as the pattern designs are pleasant and you can put toast on it.

Great set! Really live it .. I can’t fault Amazon’s delivery, no Next day delivery costs comparing the department store, but I tend to buy from dept store ( local store) during the lockdown , it’s just don’t feel good to see them going into administration... however, It has very good experience regarding the price for this set and fast next day delivery , I ll definitely give 5 star!

An ex bought me the paint splash mug as a gift after I saw it in a shop and loved it. Ever since I wanted the set which I now have.The quality is as you would expect from royal doulton and the images show you exactly what you are getting.If like me you look and think they are nice, you'll love them in person

I gave these as a gift. They are solid plates, don’t seem easily breakable with one little knock. I didn’t see them when they were opened on Christmas Day as they were well wrapped up in bubble wrap, but they’re Royal Doulton and anything I have of theirs is always practical and beautiful.

I love the funky different designs which are all different yet work in harmony. Superb quality. My only complaint would be the size of the plates as I think the dinner plates are enormous so I use the side plates which are big so they work fine. I use the tapas plates as side plates.

I always use white dinner plates and I ordered these to use as a salad starter plate and they arrived just in time for a lunch I set up. Really nice quality and the different patterns were a conversation subject.

Beautiful plates but advertised as 28 cm and when arrived they were 29cm and wouldn’t fit in my plate rack! Had to buy additional plates to fill such!

I love the pattern variations on these plates. It makes for a nice change. They are quite heavy and a bit clunky but I am still pleased with them.

Very nice selection. First delivery had one broken plate although not badly packaged. Replaced quickly with no problems. Good seller.

These are great but unfortunately we have to wash them up by hand as they do not fit in the dishwasher
