I had knee surgery which now limits me to biking and mild activities such as swimming, etc. and cannot do any running for longs distances which I used to do (as an Ultramarathoner). However, I did Triathlons before my incident, which occurred on a soccer field, I demolished my ACL during a game, and the bike I have always used for my Tri's was a favorite of mine.Since the surgery, I have lost about an inch of height due to circumstances with the actual procedure to both knees. Because of this; I was unable to be properly fitted onto my bike since I had an enormously long stem installed, a 130mm (don't understand how I rode with that before!) but now that I've lost height,

Another reviewer stated the bolt heads stripped out easily. That is NOT true. He obviously doesn't know how to properly use an Allen Wrench. He also needs to pay attention to Ritchey's installation instructions for this particular Stem Design. They even have videos on how to install the handlebar on the stem on their Web Site.In the Ritchey instructions it is strongly recommended to use this Stem with Ritchey bars; they also state it may not work with some handlebars. This is a high end product and requires that you know how to properly work with tools.This is a beautifully made Stem and mated beautifully with the Ritchey WCS Flat Bar I had previously purchased.

I only use Ritchey bars, stems and seat posts on my road and Mountain bikes. I have tried 3T and Dedda but I prefer the quality and serviceability of the Ritchey products. I have needed replacement bolts and called Ritchey directly and they sent them to me at no cost within a couple of days. You can't call Italy and get anything from the other companies. You need to go through the distributor and they want you to go to a LBS to order parts. Ritchey is my favorite for the last 15 years.

This stem is lighter and sexier than my last DEDA stem.I've found just a few draw backs.The bottom faceplate bolts are a little tricky to get to. Also, my bars did slip jsut a bit after hitting a pothole hard which actually may not be the fault of the stem but the bars themselves..

I have two of these stems on bikes I own. Ritchey made a rolling change on the bolt heads from 3M Hex to T20 torx bit. Please be aware since these small bits can be stripped if you force them. Otherwise, a great product that I love.

I mounted this stem on my race bike. Only downside is that you have to slide the bar into the stem in order to mount it. If you are careful though it mounts right up and is very secure. The stem is STIFF!!!!

Put this 70mm stem mated to a 750mm Race Face Atlas low rise bar on my Fatty. Its sweet. Love Ritchey products.

Amazing stem. Would buy again. Luckily I had aero bars and it would fit on without removing my shifters

Attention you may need to remove bar tape in order to mount this but a great product and sturdy

Good stem. Its a well made, lightweight stem. I little tricky to install though.
