adding this part really stiffened things up on the front end. my handlebars are well perched out in front of my bicycle now. previously (before installing the stem) they would just dangle on their brake cables. riding is so much easier now. the stem itself seems very well built. it's unexpectedly light, being aluminum, the finish is shiny and matches the rest of the polished aluminum on my bicycle. the face plate is very slight and the canted bolt angles seem to add extra grab without having ,to over-tighten.

Excellent quality and polished aluminum finish, not the usual silver anodized finishes. Excellent for classic bikes. Very robust and low weight
