This mouse is a premium product, as you can tell from the price. Often in life, you do get what you pay for, though and that's largely the case here with a beautifully designed mouse that will complement your premium HP Spectre laptop (or any other) well. The design falls nicely in hand for left and right handers alike. the buttons have a nice click action and the unit has a rechargeable battery inside, which charges via the included micro-USB cable. The unit can be paired with up to four devices, which might take the sting out of the price a bit. Overall, it's a really lovely mouse and easy to recommend to Spectre owners. However, there are other mice out there that can give it a run for its money in terms of features and in terms of portability and price. To my mind, the best mouse on sale is still the Logitech MX Master 2s https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Rechargeable-Multi-Device-Programmable-Productivity/dp/B071KZS3MF/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=logitech+mx+master+2&qid=1568991232&sr=8-1, but that is for right handers only and that doesn't have the left and right scroll of the HP. However, on balance, I would sooner recommend the Logitech as it does considerably more with its additional scroll wheels, scroll action switch and additional buttons. For packing away in a bag, I prefer the Microsoft Arc https://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-Arc-Bluetooth-Mouse-Black/dp/B073VG9ZSV/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=microsoft+arc+mouse&qid=1568991261&sr=8-3, although that's not as comfortable to use over very long sessions. As a budget alternative, I like the Logitech Pebble M350 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Wireless-Bluetooth-Receiver-Computer/dp/B07VFJVPBR/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=logitech+pebble+m350&qid=1568991293&sr=8-1, which is flat and has a lovely click action. Another budget option from Logitech is the M590 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Silent-Wireless-Battery-Graphite/dp/B071VC9998/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=logitech+590&qid=1568991321&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&sr=8-1. Both feel really nice, although the quality of the plastics is well below the materials used in the HP.

Here's a stylish mouse that comes in four colours to match your HP laptop. You get four colours to choose: White, Silver, Ash Copper and Burgundy. There are two buttons on the left side that move between web pages on your computer and I use that feature a lot with mice. There's a multi way scroll wheel that also with a deep push click disengages the click wheel, a small square button behind the wheel that engages autoscroll in compatible programs. On the underside an on-off switch and a small oblong button for Bluetooth paring and switching between sources. The idea of this mouse is to be able to connect to and switch between four devices, three using Bluetooth and one wireless connection using a small dongle (that's ingeniously housed inside the body of the mouse). Bluetooth pairing with the MacBook and my HP laptop was straightforward, however try as I might, I could not get it to recognise or hold connection to my office Surface Pro. Using the dongle to connect worked though, so that was handy. So that's helpful. Was disappointed with battery life, especially as the battery is not (obviously) replaceable. Charging is done by connecting it to the supplied micro-USB cable, though charging to full only takes two hours. You can't use the mouse 'wired', the cable if charging only. With a single computer this mouse does its job well enough. If you're running multiple systems on one desktop it might be a way to keep clutter down. Now if there was a keyboard to go along with it...

Everything about this mouse is great... Except the colour. The mouse can connect to 3 different Bluetooth devices and 1 more device using a USB dongle. The USB dongle has its own little hiding spot inside the mouse so it wont get lost.Easy switching between devices with 1 button press.Has side scrolling wheel... Although this makea the wheel feel very flimsy.Looks fancy as hell!!But I just don't understand the colour. This is supposed to be for the HP Spectre range, but the colour isn't right at all. The Ash silver (dark grey) is just black plastic on the mouse. And the copper, is more of a white gold.It looks great but it just isn't the same colours as the laptop and for me it's really frustrating.Surely they can tell the difference, so why make it the wrong colours? In the picture it looks like it's supposed to and has the right colours, exactly the same as the laptop, but in real life it just isn't the case. They obviously spent some time adjusting the colours on photoshop instead of just getting it right in production....Maybe I'm just being fussy, and to somebody else seeing it briefly might think wow that's flash and matches! But as somebody who is seeing it up close regularly. It's not right at all lol, very annoying.I got mine from the HP store but I'm sure they will be no different from here.Overall, I like it, and I'll keep it, but really shame the only thing they messed up is the colours.

This a nice mouse from a trusted manufacturer - I like HP products as they have a talent for making reliable, accurate hardware and this one doesn't break the mould in that respect. This mouse seems targeted for people on the move, probably mainly for use with laptops. It's great to pop in a laptop bag and start using when you sit down wherever you need to work. This is mainly due to the small size and long battery life. The size and shape take a little getting used to, but once you are settled in it's comfortable enough - I'd maybe not use it for extended periods of time if you have larger hands as you may suffer a bit of cramp from the grip you need. It's a really attractive mouse - I testedthe white version and it looks great on a tabletop. It has a few features you don't usually see on mice designed for this purpose - extra buttons, customisable DPI settings and additional scroll directions, which are all welcome here and add to the positive feeling about this mouse. The sensor is accurate; I had no trouble on a variety of surfaces, and the buttons all respond well and reliably. The bluetooth connection is strong and the ability to pair with 4 devices means that you can use the same mouse across various platforms which makes a big difference to someone who is used to "relearning" his mouses sensitivity every time I change computer. All in all it's a really nice piece of kit - reliable, compact and accurate.

Everything about this new HP mouse exudes and shouts quality. The scroll wheel, even, is carefully etched metal that looks and feels really great making for a mousing experience like no other I've experienced. The design overall really is first class to allow comfortable grip, despite the small size. It's a truly lovely mouse.Connection is by USB or Bluetooth; I'm using the latter as it leaves my one USB socket clear for other uses (I'm using Microsoft Surface Pro 4). I've also linked the mouse up to my Samsung All-in-One PC, which I use when I teach students, and I find it connects smoothly and solidly (apparently up to four devices can be linked to the one mouse, making it very flexible and practical).
