These are, without a doubt, the best notebook to bullet journal in. I’ve been using a BuJo to organise my life for a few years now and have tried pretty much everything out there. (No idea at all why folk rave about moleskine, that’s been the most disappointing by far) I’d pretty much settled on an A5 squared book by the Peter Pauper Press that I found on Amazon, but - the pages aren’t numbered (I don’t use an index often, but it is occasionally useful.) and I’d prefer dots to squares for when I want to doodle/draw. Then I stumbled across this.PROS- great paper, especially if you use a fountain pen. Darker inks do ghost a bit but there’s no bleed through. Takes a wider range of pens than any other notebook I’ve tried so far.I’ve painted page edges and stencilled with dylusions paint and it’s taken it without any problems.- overview of a year is all set up for you, in two different formats (vertical and horizontal)- numbered pages- contents pages- back pocket- two page markers- lots of colours to choose fromCONS- the paper isn’t perfect, but it’s the best of the lot. The only way to totally avoid ghosting would be to either use a sketchbook or only use light ink/fineliners etc.In conclusion, no more notebook testing for me. I’ve found the perfect bujo.

Watched this movie called Paterson yesterday (thanks Amazon Prime - loving you!) and it totally got me writing poetry again, so i needed somewhere to corral all the words: Cue fancy notebook and my fifth Rhodia so far cuz i freaking love them!I checked and double checked: Leatherette does not involve violently ripping the skin off someone who's still alive and conscious, which is honestly what leather is; this is plastic but smooth and bendy - will protect the pages like a trooper!I've included a bunch of photos which probably would've been better done in daylight but patience is not one of my virtues; anyways, I'll let them tell you more.Worth it and highly recommended!

Beautiful.I bought a slightly different one by the same maker last year and was slightly aggrieved at the extra cost of this one initially but was really pleased once I received it. It's lovely with more features (Numbered pages, two bookmarks contents page, title page, year at a glance page and month at a glance pages.)Once again, it has that wonderfully textured, sturdy soft cover and really good quality cream coloured pages. My sister owns a leuchtturm and we both agree that the quality of this paper is vastly better. (Thicker, smoother and much less bleeding)Really good quality and I can't wait to start using it once I fill my last one!

I have previously used the rhodia webnotebook for bullet journal however the addition of calendar pages and PAGE NUMBERS make this an excellent alternative. The calendar pages are not dated so are completely customisable for year.I love the rhodia paper, it is an off-white/cream which I personally prefer as it is less strain on the eyes but if you like pure white then be aware that their paper is not pure white. The hardcover goal book is perfect, I love the size and simplicity. Great choice of colours too.

Great notebook. I love the quality of Rhodia paper. But I still like Leuchtturm better, as the pages are a bit lighter in colour and better with water-based markers. My mum however, liked the darker dots of the Rhodia more. I also appreciate the leather(ish?) semi soft cover. And I love the contrast of colours. Overall a premium notebook, in the range of Leuchtturm 1917 and Moleskine. The goalbook format is simple and perfect for bullet journaling.

Rhodia have solved all my bullet journal woes!!I initially thought I'd bought the wrong product, but the Rhodia Goal book is basically the same as their usual dot matrix books but with contents pages and a monthly summary at the beginning all set up for you. It still has the great paper quality and high standards that I have come to expect with Rhodia notebooks. And it's cheaper?!Will be buying these ones always!

I used to use the Rhodia WebNotebooks for all my bullet journaling. This goalbook is exactly the same except with a few index pages in the front and numbered pages. It’s a slight bit bigger than the normal web notebook. The page quality is the same, although the dots on the goalbook are a bit lighter.Overall, this journal follows me everywhere and I get joy out of using it everyday, so it’s well worth the money.

Usual great quality rhodia paper which is very fountain pen friendly.Nice to have a notebook of this style and size without having the additional bulk of a hardcover like the hardback version of this and the other 1917 style notebooks, not having the additional bulk is useful when using in a notebook cover. Cover is still thick and sturdy enough to provide a good level of protection.

This notebook feels beautiful in the hand. The 'leather' cover is soft and smooth to the touch and the paper is creamy and soft with no bleeding and very little or no ghosting from a variety of pens used. The dots could be a little lighter in colour, they stand out a little more than I would like when writing and drawings are on the page.

Lovely metallic silver softcover notebook. Quality paper as expected from Rhodia brand. A few pre-printed pages at the start, but the rest are just dotted. Paper has an ivory tinge, rather than being white. There are two contrasting orange ribbon page markers and closure elastic.

Like that the yearly/monthly planner is already set up (without days so can be started any time). The cover is very soft, I can use more of my pens than with my leuchtturm or Moleskine because the paper is thicker. Using it as a day to day bullet journal and it does the job.

23.11.2017

You cannot beat the quality of paper here, there is no bleed or fuzz on fountain pens and the binding is secure and well done. It comes with 2 bookmarks which is a bit overkill for most but I find it useful (you can just cut one off if you really want).

Having been hugely disappointed by the change in the quality of the Scribbles that Matter journal, which I usually use, I was delighted to find this. It is a little more expensive but the quality is as good as STM was, so happily I found a replacement.

Bought for my self - the expected Rhodia quality. Soft cover. Great for a fountain pen user such as I am. Normally I have used the hardback Webbie but this goalbook has some useful details such as page numbering, index and perpetual calendars.

I used Moleskine for years, and although I loved them, tried one of these, and have never gone back. Love the covers, love the paper, love the cream color (easy on the eyes), love how they take ink. Hope they never stop making them!
