A perfectly acceptable and inexpensive item which would be ideal in suburban or rural areas with light traffic. In my own case, a longer stalk would have been more useful - we only have single-track roads, so to get a view directly behind me I need the mirror to protrude beyond my body line. The mirror fits within the footprint of machine and rider and would give clear sight of any approaching traffic from the rear on a normal-width road. On single track roads you need to zig-zag to get the view directly behind you - a bore but better than annoying drivers who cannot be heard due to wind conditions.

I was fed up with having to fit cheap feeling plastic gimmicky accessories on my traditional style cycle because that's all the big shops sell. THIS is a proper glass mirror in a proper chromed metal frame with a metal rod and has just the right angle, length and mirror adjustability to see behind you safely. So hard to find this type of thing nowadays and it looks right on my old fashioned sit-up-and-beg style Pendleton cycle. There were no instructions but fitting it was a pretty obvious process. Do fit it very tightly though or it will swing down when you go over a bump!

When fitted to the left of the gear change on the handlebar, it was useless, all I could see was my right arm. My husband had to cut the end of the rubber handlebar off and place the mirror there. Now it works well and I can see the traffic coming up behind me. It would be better if the stem was longer so it could be fitted in the correct place and you could still see the traffic.

This is a great product at a very reasonable price. The quality of material and construction are very good. The mirror is clear and fee from distortion. Some reviewers had trouble fitting the mirror to their particular configuration of handlebar. I bought this item for fitting to a toy car, so I was expecting to improvise a fitting.

Good efficient and attractive. Helps to reduce the need to look round and give something approaching 270 degree vision. Classic chrome and easily adjusted. At first the clamp seems too small but just bend it gently open, put it around the handlebars, put the bolt through and tighten.

The bracket to fit it to the bike handle bars is extremely small, it will not go round my handle bar.I am at a loss as to how to fit it! Strange! it seems to be well made and robust, but unless I can change the bracket I can't see that I will ever use it on my bike.

This attaches to handlebars very easily, and immediately looks the part on any vintage/retro bike.The stem could be slightly longer, for better visibility (or I could just attach it outside the hand grip), but it works just fine.

I bought the mirror for my wife's tricycle and it was perfect for the job. Nice adjustable and sturdy design. Very little vibration which is the main problem with cycle mirrors in my experience.

Use these on my bike in London; you don't drive motor vehicles without mirrors; so the same for cycles; your life depends on your rear vision and your wits; get a mirror.

find this mirror very secure on handlebar no movement even when coming off kerbsgod visionalthough stalk could be a bit longerotherwise just perfect for me.

at the beginning seemed that the handle bar was too big to fit the mirror, then I insisted and it actually fit perfectly.it does the job! I like it!

good all round view. So useful for mobility scooter. feel more confident while out and about. They look very smart.
