Bought this cd player to replace my previous player that had given up the ghost .This was high quality unit costing £500. eight years ago. I chose the ds2 because size is an issue and Pro_ject's reputation for high quality products, I already own one of their turntables . The ds2 arrived on time and extremely well packaged (bomb proof would describe it) set up was easy, but the main issue with this machine was the sound in a nutshell it sounds fantastic easily out performing its predecessor. Highly recommended.
