I ski back country on a regular basis during the season both solo and in small groups, we also climb and participate in a range of other actives when out, all of which require head protection. The POC is a replacement for an ageing Carrera helmet and was a significant upgrade to what I have been used to. The helmet is both lightweight and comfortable. It vents easily and is suitable for the full range of activities I undertake from skiing steep and deep to Kite Skiing to the occasional ice climbing ascent. I do mount a go pro on the helmet using the elastic strap harness and the configuration works well allowing us to capture some fantastic moments when out. I like the helmet which is both functional and fashionable.It is apparent that the R&D team have done a significant amount of work on the design of this helmet and it fits my head very well. It did take me a little while to finely tune the fitting but it is now like a second skin when I wear it and is hardly noticeable. Although I have not needed to test its bump characteristics yet it looks well made and more than capable of delivering should it be called upon to do so the sort of protection one would expect from a high end product of this nature.I have recommended this helmet to a number of my ski buddies all of whom have succumb and bought the same model, and we are in universal agreement that this is an exceptional item of protection.

This is a very nice helmet that will protect your head well. I have only crashed once so far, was going too fast to make a turn and lost traction, thus sliding into a ditch of trees. I landed on my back head first and the helmet moved a little to absorb the impact (mips did not move yet). It was super protective and comfortable.Terrible goggle strap!!! Aftermarket stick on strap clips are a must!I have a big head and the xl caused some pain, I wish maybe the pads were thicker so there's more size wiggle room.

I wish it had a visor. Any snow that falls in to the vent ports melts and eventually runs down on to your goggles. That is why I gave it 4 stars. Other than that I enjoy the fit, style and the removable ear/neck roll. The recco reflector is built in to the helmet on this model, so removing the ear/neck roll for more air flow doesn't come at the cost of removing the recco reflector.

Love the helmet. I have two other POC's in mlarge also so ordered this in same size. This one does fit slightly tighter due to the extra protection. My completely removing a couple of the Velcro pieces for padding I was able to get it to fit perfect but was nervous for a minute. My fault for assuming same fit as others I have.

Great saving, helmet delivered earlier than expected. If buying this product get measured first. They go up in cm blocks so a very accurate fitting if you get your size right. Very happy and looks very cool on the slopes. Not many worn due to their original cost being high for a ski helmet generally.

Fabulous helmet, Great service.So comfy, seems to have been made to fit an actual normal shaped head. The increase protection around the back and side of the head is reassuring as they obviously know what they're doing.

My fat bike winter helmet is fantastic and I can't say enough goods things about it. Warm and a nice fit both make this helmet worth the price. I happend to catch a sale on this helmet and jumped on it.

Super comfortable...perfect fit with POC or Oakley goggles...adjustable padding with spares provided....comes with helmet bag and goggles clip...based on Receptor plus....recommended!

The price is a little steep, however workmanship and quality are excellent. It gives you the protection you need when skiing the back country.

Doesn't adjust which is not ideal, other than that a good purchase. Like colour and design, good safefy spec. Reasonable value.

I love this helmet but the small is a little larger than I thought compared to my other POC helmets.
