So far So good as expected. very simple and easy to use. No need to read the instruction to use really. it doesn't spin at too fast speed, so less dangerous. just cut half of citrus fruits and squeeze and press down at the same time,it'll automatically rotates. lemons squeezed within a few seconds like 5 seconds? each half and oranges about 10 seconds each half.. i wouldn't never buy supermarket orange juice which is full of artificial flavours and sugars. especially when you can get this so fresh orange juice everytime within a few minutes at low cost as well. for example, pack of basic oranges from supermarket cost about 0.99p - 1.50.. and i would say one and half orange to 2 oranges produce a good amount in quite big cup.

I have read some of the reviews before I bought this product, and there were some negative comments about the juicer not being easy to clean. I almost didn't buy it because of that. Now I am very happy that I did, as I like to make my fresh orange juice in the morning, and with this juicer it's a very pleasant and easy experience. The simple cleaning process itself takes about 2 mins max. I can't comment on the machine's durability yet - I only had it a few months and so far so good! I also really like the fact that the juicer takes out the entire contents of the fruit, and I can decide whether I want more fibre or less in my juice, by adding it back at the end. The Philips Citrus juicer is something I have been after for a while now and it lives up to my expectations completely!The juicer is extremely well built and has a great strong motor for all your juicing needs.It's also quieter than most other juicers i've tried, along with it being super easy to assemble and disassemble.The juicer has 3 parts, the base unit with motor, the jug and the juicer filter attachment on top. They all fit very well together and make juicing a breeze and delight. The spout for pouring the juice out as well is very well designed and doesn't drip either which is very impressive. Above all else, the attachments are dishwasher friendly!!!!Overall,

The product comes in a small box, fully assembled, with the power cord wrapped at the base of the unit.It appears to be well designed and engineered, features a twist off jug and you push the fruit down over the press to activate the motor. Once the jug is full, you detach the pulp tray/press with a quick pull, twist the jug to detach it from the base, which allows you to pour the juice into a container. My only slight gripe is that the pulp tray gets clogged quickly and if you push down too hard on the press the motor starts to change direction erratically.All in all, for a moderate user I would highly recommend it over something more expensive.

I had a lot of prejudice when I purchased this product but decided to try it anyway. I'm a vivid lover of fresh orange and lemon juice and my main issues where that I could never find a citrus juicer that would have a good price, be easy to clean, be sturdy and reliable, not take up a lot of space, and hold more than 100ml of liquid. This Juicer does all of the above and it does it well. You simply hold the orange on top of it and press down lightly. It'll begin to rotate and bring out all the juices which will be placed directly in the container below. To wash, you simply lift the container and rinse. Simple and effective at a good price and minimal amount of storage. I love it.

I am very pleased indeed with this Philips Juicer (Type HR2738/01/AF. Made in Slovenia) and so, especially considering its very acceptable price, am heartily recommending it.It replaces a much older but what was a still well loved and used Philips juicer (Type HR2276) that was still juicing as well as ever until, sadly, it was accidentally dropped on to a hard tiled floor, resulting in the plastic body suffering irreparable damage.This new juicer is equally if not even easier to use than our old, smaller, model. Rinsing the two parts under the tap immediately after juicing, whether lemons, oranges or limes, is an absolute cinch (provided of course you do it straight away!)

This product is really simple. There is a base, a jug and a juice squeezer. I use it with oranges and it does a great job. Once finished, it's a simple job to wash the squeezer and the jug. That's it!I also have a sophisticated motorised slow juicer which is OK with hard fruit but does not do a particularly good job with oranges, grapefruit etc. On top of that there are seven separate items to wash and some of them need a special brush to get all the debris out. It's hardly worth setting up unless you are going to produce a lot of juice.Because my Philips juicer is so easy to set up and clean, I use it regularly even when I only need one glassful of juice.

Bought this based on other reviews and as soon as received used it to make a batch of lemon ice cubes with 10 lemons! I then use them to put in drinks or make hot water with lemon and honey. Really enjoyed using it and it made the task pleasurable and much easier than manual squeeze. Easy to wash up and store. Before receiving wondered about the shape of squeezer for lemons as opposed to oranges but it worked perfectly for small and large lemons - seems more angular than pic of another brand which a reviewer had said was too big for lemons. This one was an excellent choice for me, and I am delighted with my purchase.

Several years ago I bought a big, expensive juicer. After the initial few weeks it ended up in the cupboard and has been there ever since. Cleaning it after use was a nightmare, it was only really practical to make several litres of juice at a time, somewhat defeating the object of fresh juice. This press is perfect for what I want, it holds half a litre but I only want 2 oranges at a time for my husband and I. It juices them perfectly and all you need to do afterwards is rinse the bowl and press under the tap. The perfect freshly squeezed orange juice. I love it.

Amazing item for amazing price. I was lookin at reviews and wondering if they are real or fake. But now i can surely say that good reviews were real for this product. Because it simply does what it says. Do you need orange juice? Will take 2 minutes. It is very easy to clean it and put it back to the shelf. No mess, no problems. I am happy for ordering this item, because this is enough for me. Lastly, i am not one of review exchangers, was looking for a product and just ordered it. It could be bad too, so my review would be 1 star. Good luck!

I was thinking of buying a more expensive one, but there is not need whatsoever!!This Philips does the job perfectly! All I wanted is to have a quick and easy wayto have a delicious and fresh grapefruit juice without all additional hassleand this is brilliant for the job!Very easy to use and so easy to clean! All the positive reviews don't lie!I bought it mainly, because of such a huge positive feedback this unit has!4.8/5 and only £18, just buy it!! This could easily cost £25-£30!Excellent item!! Well done Philips!

This is a life-changer. I promise this will help you drink more juice. It's very easy to use (with just three parts to clean) and no buttons: just push the fruit down on to the grinder and it starts working. 4 lemons later, and you've got the best summer drink you could imagine. My recipe is 900ml of water in a saucepan, boil it with 100g sugar (boil it to properly mix the water and sugar - if you use cold water, the sugar will sink). Then squeeze four lemons, mix and chill. Add a mint leaf for extra yumminess.

Absolutely love this juicer, it was relatively good priced compared to an actual juicer, and the taste of fresh orange is just fabulous, I make a glass everyday! It takes 2 large oranges to make a glass, and due to the spaces you also get some pulp which I love.Super easy to clean after as wellVery compact so you can store it easily.Only negative is that if you need to make lots of juice then just buy some from Marks and Spencers since thats the next best OJ, since it takes a good 5mins to make 1 glass!

This isn't as fast as using a juicer, but i was fed up with the covering of foam that all juicers make because they spin so fast. This doesn't have any foam and it's easier to clean than any juicer. Extremely simple to use. Only downside is your hand can get a bit messy after a while from holding down the fruit.Also if you're old or have any problems with your hands/arms then the force needed to hold down the fruit MIGHT be an issue if you're making lots of drinks, but for anyone else it's easy.

Good performance for the priceI was doubtful given the low power motor but the product performs well. If you press too hard on the orange it does stall and starts rotating backwards and forwards but just reduce pressure a bit and goes back to spinning with enough power to juice even the hardest lemon or lime.It's compact and the design is good enough that you can leave it on the counter.My 3 year old likes it and thats a nice incentive to get her to drink freshly squeezed OJ a few times a week.
